TV Anime 'A3!' Airs in Split Cours, Announces Staff

During the "A3! Blooming Carnival" event on Sunday, it was announced that the anime adaptation of Liber Entertainment Inc.'s A3! will air in split cours. A3! Season Spring & Summer will be broadcast in Winter 2020, while A3! Season Autumn & Winter will be broadcast in Summer 2020. More staff, a promotional video and a key visual for Season Spring & Summer (pictured) were also revealed.

Kaori Nazuka (Akagami no Shirayuki-hime) will also cast as Izumi Tachibana, the director of Mankai Company.

Keisuke Shinohara (Black Fox) is helming the series that features character designs by chief animation director Mariko Komatsu (Nanatsu no Taizai Movie: Tenkuu no Torawarebito supportive animation director). Naoki Hayashi (Black Fox) is in charge of the series composition. Infinite is producing the series, while P.A. Works and Studio 3Hz is animating the show.

A3! (an abbreviation of Act! Addict! Actors!) is a smartphone game that launched January 2017. It has received various adaptations including a manga penned by Yoshimi Muneyama and two stage plays.

Can't be helped. They'll only appear on ACT2 aka fourth play. Lets just hope the anime is successful enough for them to continue adapting it past first plays.

(I'm still sad too because they won't adapt second and third plays, ZENMAI JIKAKEEEE (ಥ_ಥ))

Yeah, but I wasn't planning on watching it. I don't think I would like it.

edit: Wait, I thought you were talking about "A3," lol. I didn't realize that "Actors" was an entirely different Anime. I'll definitely check that one out.

didn't expect them to split it up but it does make sense they'd start with the spring and summer troupes. can't wait to see izumi animated and speaking

Finally the news is on MAL, yay!

YAY for the decision to split cour, because counting the prologue (7) + spring (35) + summer (38) = 80 story parts will be divided into 12/13 episodes, it will probably adapt 6~7 story parts per episode. It's a nice enough pace.

Also YAY for Kantoku's seiyuu, Kiyoko Haikyuu and Akagami's Kiki!! Looking forward to hear Kantoku's voice~

Bless the production team, I hope this will be a great adaptation because the story deserves it! Izumi-chan deserves it!

(now I just need to wait for Tsuzurun to be approved into MAL DB)
