'Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo.' TV Anime Reveals Additional Cast Members

The official website of Lay-duce's Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. revealed additional cast members, as well as a new key visual (pictured) and a commercial on Friday. The anime will air on MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS' Animeism programming block from July 6.

Tomoaki Yamagishi: Jun Fukuyama (Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!)
Shun Amagi: Yuuya Hirose (Tsuki ga Kirei)
Hisashi Saegusa: Shunsuke Sakuya (Zankyou no Terror)
Sonoe Juujou: Haruka Tomatsu (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.)
Satoshi Sugimoto: Natsuki Hanae (Piano no Mori (TV))

Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. adapts the drama manga drawn by Mari Okada and Nao Emoto. Masahiro Andou (Hanasaku Iroha) and Takurou Tsukada (Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko kara Miru ka? episode director) will helm the series and Okada will pen the scripts. Kaori Ishii (Release The Spyce animation director) is designing the characters.

Well, as I said above, at the moment most girls have more or less reciprocal ships with their love interest. Of course, there are nuances and hints of "hidden" attraction, but that would be a spoiler.

@shanimebib By MC, I mean that girl who is in love with her childhood friend, of course. And under the "those two girls" "albino" and a girl with pigtails. I consider them the most suitable for the yuri subplot, since the first one behaves like a typical "lesbian best friend" in dramatic romance with a female protagonist, and the second one in my opinion reminds too much of a girl from CGDCT in terms of her communication with friends, you know. I don't know the plot well, so these impressions are purely speculative.

@tragedydesu There is one love triangle here, but the winning girl is very obvious and, in general, most of the characters have their own separate love interest. In this regard, this is a typical shonen with different future couples.

Just looked up the cast earlier today and the moment I saw Kurosawa Tomoyo (Kumiko) and Anzai Chika (Reina) in this one, I seriously considered giving the manga a shot and so far it has been quite a fun read! And both of them will fit so well with their characters! More Kumiko noises and more mature Reina talks incominghhhhnnggg!

Drama / Romance
etc etc

The genres say Drama, School and Shounen. But the art and PV give me vibes of Asobi Asobase.

Mari Okada the saviour once again. I'll probably not watch it due to lack of male characters, but at least the comments from her hate club will be a goldmine for comedy once again.

Seems fairly interesting! Mari Okada is involves so this’ll most likely end up being a feels ride throughout

but I’m looking forward to it nonetheless!

Got to say, the ‘sex’ at the start totally got me bewildered xD though. Chico with Honeyworks with the Op though, yosha! 🤩 Animation and ArtStyle seems pretty good too! Here’s to hoping the Storyline and the Characterization delivers too!
