Manga 'Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo.' Gets TV Anime

An official website has launched and announced that the Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. manga will get a TV Anime. The website has also revealed staff members.

Synopsis
The girls in a high school literature club do a little icebreaker to get to know each other: answering the question, "What's one thing you want to do before you die?" One of the girls blurts out, "Sex." Little do they know, the whirlwind unleashed by that word pushes each of these girls, with different backgrounds and personalities, onto their own clumsy, funny, painful, and emotional paths toward adulthood. Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. is a manga by Mari Okada and Nao Emoto that has been serialized in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine since December 2016. Five compiled volumes have been released as of August 9.

Kodansha USA licensed the series under the title O Maidens in Your Savages in October 2018 and will publish the first volume in April 2019.

As for me, I know it's going to be a 1/10 anime, and I KNOW the threads on /a/ are going to be comedy gold.

Who knows though, maybe 2019 is the year Okada learns how to write and actually surprises me!

I mean you're trying to say that I like her writing or even enjoy which, yes I do... to an extent. I don't like M3, nor Mayoiga, nor Koufuku Graffitti (this doesn't have Polygon Love nor Melodrama, it's a SoL so that's a different story) nor Kuroshitsuji 2, where as stuff such as Fate/stay Night, NagiAsu, and to a degree IBO... I am just on the fence about or I like them but not as much. Really I ain't in the defense crusade. At worst I just wouldn't call her the best writer out there.

I was just calling you out for the stuff that don't coorelate or fit with her writing style. She's known for Melodrama and she's known for Polygons or Multi-ships, but that's it really, everything else... just doesn't fit with what you're describing here in my eyes. Also you don't need to be salty about it I was just addressing things here.

I mean, this is a recurring thing for Okada but the only times where it actually becomes really stupid was with M3 due to the characters' interactions... aside from that I don't recall anything else aside from Nagi no Asukara and even then, the polygon is just all over the place. Not retarded.

Okay... NTR would imply cucking, which wouldn't be the case for Okada. Love triangle at most, not NTR. Please learn the actual definition before plastering it into her at the same time. Something like White Album 2 and Kuzu no Honkai are NTR-based shows. These ain't chief.

I'm not trying to say that you can't hate Mari, but a lot of these are thrown out of nowhere. Because these don't coorelate with what she is with the exception of the polygon dealio.

Black hair boy loves brown hair girl.
Brown hair girl will love black hair boy.
Blonde hair girl will be hardcore lesbian for brown hair girl
Blonde hair girl will have issues (since she looks really mature and attractive, my guess is rape)

Now there are 3 other girls in this club with the boy.

Girl 3 will be in a forbidden relationship...., probably with a step brother. Or a school teacher since that is a thing across there.

Girl 4 is comic relief

Girl 5 will be in a love web with the black hair boy or be bisexual to compliment the lesbianity of blonde hair girl.

I've read the first few chapters of the manga due to this announcement and I liked what I've read of it. It's charming, cute, and fairly funny tho that might be due to how the translator rewrote it. There's only like 7 chapters translated on the site I used, I'm guessing that it goes on for a bit longer than that yeah? Anyways I'm looking forward to seeing the anime for this. It seems most people in this thread don't care for Mari Okada but I liked Kiznaiver fine and I'm kinda in the mood for more teen melodramas right now so it works out for me!

Yeah, MC liked his childhood friend, his other childhood friend liked him, pink haired bully dude tried to help other childhood friend win MC's heart but fell for her himself, and FAIRIES! girl was supporting bully dude even though she liked him and got her heart broken when she realized bully dude liked MC's other childhood friend.

Re/verse is a trashy yuri Wixoss side story manga.

Wow okay. I don't regret forgetting about it then. But still, Mari Okada don't usually write love polygon stories. She just did Maquia this year and it was mind blowing.

Didn't notice this was Okada's work at first and thought I'd skip, plus the synopsis doesn't exactly say much, but guessing this is Shoujo-ai?
