This year's 10th issue of Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine announced a television anime adaptation of Kei Toume's Yesterday wo Utatte (Sing "Yesterday" for Me) manga on Wednesday.
Synopsis

The slice of life romantic manga began its serialization in Business Jump in 1997. Following the discontinuation of Business Jump in October 2011, the manga moved to Grand Jump with the magazine's inaugural issue the following month. Toume ended the manga after an 18-year serialization in June 2015. Shueisha published the 11th and final volume in September of the same year.

Hope that as an adaptation it can be shorter and better paced than the manga.

Despite all the negative things people are saying about it, this does look pretty interesting. I think I'm going to go give the manga read.

Don't watch this if you don't want a headache, supposed to be grown ass adults besides the main female yet handle things like 5 year olds

Holy shit, the manga is almost 22 years old and finished almost 4 years ago, and now they suddenly decide to make an anime adaptation? Well, okay then. Another old and finished manga getting an anime. Expecting a complete adaptation of this.

Anime adaptations tend to do just that, so... a win win situation for this particular manga? I also hoping they change the ending a little bit.
