Shueisha opened an official website for the television anime adaptation of Kei Toume's Yesterday wo Utatte (Sing "Yesterday" for Me) slice of life romantic manga on Tuesday, revealing the main staff members and a key visual (pictured above). The anime series will air in Spring 2020.

Director, Series Composition: Yoshiyuki Fujiwara (Plastic Memories, Mikakunin de Shinkoukei)
Script: Jin Tanaka (Yuru Camp△, Anne Happy♪)
Character Design: Junichirou Taniguchi (Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai, Genshiken Nidaime)
Sound Director: Masaki Tsuchiya (Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii, Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san)

Yesterday wo Utatte began its serialization in Business Jump in 1997. The manga switched to Grand Jump with the magazine's inaugural issue in November 2011 following the discontinuation of Business Jump the month prior. After an 18-year serialization, Toume ended the manga in June 2015. Shueisha published the 11th and final volume in September that year.

Saw this (the commemoration twitter post, I meant) earlier this morning right before school and found it interesting.

Having Doga Koba on this makes it an instant must-watch though, great to see! Pretty good Staff as well, this is looking great so far!

Edit: Thanks!

Hmm... interesting. They announced this way back and only now it gets more info, huh.
The staff looks great and it's Doga Kobo so, if nothing else, it'll be a feels good show.

Speaking of staff

sounds interesting and I'm a sucker for romance, I'll gladly watch it

Website is broken or just awfully incomplete. Also says STOTY instead of Story. Wonder if they're taking this seriously.
