I revived my MyAnimeList account just to write this review after just having finished the manga, because I think some manga lovers will skip it through misunderstanding of what it is, and as a result will miss a great story.

This is not a standard manga, whose purpose is to provide fun light reading, mainly for kids and teenagers. It's more like a long serious novel, whose purpose is to move adults emotionally—in this case by telling the story of how several characters grow into adulthood. This story does not have A protagonist, read more

There is something unique about this manga, that brings me back to it. It definitely is different than most of the "slice of life" works. The initial impression can easily be as mundane, slow-paced, too realistic or simplistic. But read a bit further & you may as well find something rather special.

The story does not stand out much. Its more like the narration of the daily life of the main characters. But it touches some intricate details, the nuances of the conversations can be quite fulfilling. The art could have been better, sometimes it feels like there's a lack of consistency or proportion in read more
