Seiyuu Yuuko Oono Enters Hiatus

Talent Agency Mausu Production announced via its official website on Wednesday that seiyuu Yuuko Oono will start taking a break due to a problem with her health.

Oono debut in 2016. Two of her earlier roles are Shouuchuu Date and Ririka Ijuuin from Trickster: Edogawa Ranpo "Shounen Tanteidan" yori. She also voiced Jun Gotou from Tenshi no 3P, Yuzu from Konohana Kitan, Aya Asagiri from Mahou Shoujo Site, and more. Her role of Jehanne Darc from Ulysses: Jehanne Darc to Renkin no Kishi is currently airing, and her role of Kaede from the anime adaptation of Lapis Re:LiGHTs: Kono Sekai no Idol wa Mahou ga Tsukaeru multimedia idol project is planned.

Yeah, I don't think that would be the case here. She's quickly landed main roles in multiple full-length shows, including one that's in the middle of airing right now, and her ability to produce a "loli voice" should be highly in demand.

Japanese talents often use a "bad health" as an excuse to stealthily retire from a career they view as failed. Hopefully she gets better soon, wether that her health or her mental state

Its unfortunate but her health must be the priority here.

I hope that she has already completed the voice work for Ulysses. Her performance for Jeanne is one of the highlights of that show.

Damn, that sucks. I hope she will recover. I also hope she has her lines for the Jeanne d'Arc anime fully recorded, since her performance as edgy Jeanne is quite good.

Could be, but since its sudden i doubt they already finished doing the whole work.

I think there would be a VA replacement as the information list as Hiatus/Indefintely.
