original source doesn't even finishing monter asociation + garou saga yet.. what would they adapt? surpassing original source? very unlikely... i think that's the main reason rather than JC Staff it self...
They clearly wont adapt all of that arc. With this pacing, S2 would be feasible by 2020...
They can just stop on the
first season can be rushed because lot of weekly monsters and visual porn... murata ever drawn a chapter simply metal knight fly or the place where saitama in borors ship, or the spinning sonic... you had to be joking if you think they can pull it again... also that kind of ending is extreamly unsatisfying...

I read the manga, and I can't wait to see our "idol" suffering :')
What is the manga actually like? Gender reassignment surgery is no joke, so I already know this show will get lambasted for "going too far" once the Summer season approaches and more people start learning about it. So does it handle it well and is it funny enough to justify it?
So the manga is basically about three yakuza failed the assignment, they either have to do harakiri or change their gender to Thailand and become idol to produce money. They become so cute and popular, they regret it. Despite being a woman, their personalities pretty much didn't change and it's played for laugh. The boss himself is a cruel person that force our three main character through spartan and survival training.
And yes, it's actually funny enough to justify it.

I know JC Staff for Saiki K and Shokugeki and both of them are great. maybe its the source material but I think JC staff can handle stuff well. now, as some other member said, they sure are taking a lot of projects... hopefully they dont bite more than they can chew
also, at least its not Studio Pierrot.
Pierrot don't pick projects like that either way by the committee or by themselves either way
thankfully. idk why Jump still lets them do their properties...

Damn. J.C Staff sure is taking on a lot of projects. I hope they aren't biting off more than they can chew. I really want OPM S2 and Grand Blue to be good.
Grand Blue isn't done by J.C. Staff, but by Zero-G, if I remember correctly.
Ah shit, I forgot. I was remembering that everyone wanted J.C Staff to do it.
