Web Manga 'Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou' to End

The official website of Shinchosha's Kurage Bunch magazine has revealed that manga Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou (Girls' Last Tour) will end in its 42nd chapter on January 12.

The series, drawn by Tsukumizu, began publishing on Kurage Bunch in February 2014 and currently has five compiled volumed available. The sixth volume will ship on March 9. A TV anime adaptation produced by White Fox was broadcast for 12 episodes in Fall 2017. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime series and it was simulcast via the now-defunct Amazon Strike platform. Yen Press has licensed the manga in English and released the third volume last year on November 14.

It's really not that rare. At least the author is ending it and not getting burnt out by the anime like some others do and they go on hiatus forever.

There is enough material for another 1 cour season if they put some filler here and there like they did with the anime.

I don't know how much there would be left too adapt, maybe enough to get a movie out. But Kadokawa won't continue any title that won't boost book sales, so it'll probably never happen. Fucking loved the show and would love to see more tho.

It only requires about 3-4 episode to complete the series.

I think movie would be better and maybe more profitable.

Check reddit, i've found people translate SSR manga from 30+ to 41.

In mang dot as is the translation until chapter 41 (complete)... But in Spanish :/

I don't wish for a sad/tragic ending:c but with or without it, I think this manga is just great.

If it has a solid ending then I'm more than happy. The anime deserves to get a finished run if that is the case, which makes me ever more excited.
