Hoping comedy will have a reneissance some day. At least Joushikausei doesn't really need translation lol.

From what i can get, he says decision to end the series was made even before the anime started airing, also the anime was a success in terms of DVD sales.
Can someone translate what else is said in this post?

This isn't the kind of story that can go into long arcs, it's a comedy about an idiot girl. Maybe if the Gintama/Osomatsu-san crew were on it, it could last longer. Still the content matter is good for a laugh and that's all you can get, and that's all you need from it anyway.
"Happiness is a banana." Goodbye Yoshiko, till we meet again. Thanks for the laughs.

When you hope for something it doesnt win. Your ship ends up sinking and your fave anime ends up with no s2 or source material ends. </3
Why are we still here? Just to suffer?
We exist to suffer. Especially those what tragedydesu likes. When tragedydesu like something it is a hint it wont go well so lets take that into account in the future.
tragedydesu Translation: Best girl never wins. My favorite anime wont get season 2.

Awww.
I might go and pick up the manga then from where the anime left off. Anyone can tell me in what chapter? Because I'm curious.
just read from beginning, lot of chapter is skipped or rushed... and it's fairly short anyways... just 8 page per chapter... well it's 4-koma after all... but the fantranslator currently stuck at vol 6... it recently picked by new translator BTW, so lets see how fast they can be...
The question is. Does oppai president win? Cause I don't wanna see that monkey.
it's hiroyuki, it's gonna be open ending... i place my bet there...
A bit awkward to see the manga ending after the adaptation had just finished, but that's just how this story concludes.
I thought the anime was quite pleasant, so I'll have to catch up in the text over time and see how things continue. Hope it gets a satisfactory ending, whatever that might be for a series like this.
hahahahah

Ah yeah, I just realized this is the same author as Mangaka-san (and I actually enjoyed that series). So I kinda know how this will end and how the romance will go lol.
Now that I know he's the author of Mangaka-san and Aho girl, I'm looking forward for his next publication.
definitely something to kill my brain cell again... definitely looking forward to it...

One of the 4-5 really good current comedy mangas off the top of my head... Doesn't help that the pace of translation of both this one and Tsurezure Children, Henjo, Joshikausei and Suki x Suki is stuck somewhere between dead and super slow.
Hoping comedy will have a reneissance some day. At least Joushikausei doesn't really need translation lol.
tsurezure is up to date, joshikausei is waiting for volume raw IIRC....
