TV Anime 'One Punch Man 2' Announces New Staff Members

The official website for One Punch Man anime series has revealed main staff members for the second season and announced changes to the list. The series will be animated by J.C.Staff instead of Madhouse, which animated the first season. The director and sound director for second season have also changed.

Director: Chikara Sakurai (Majimoji Rurumo)
Sound Director: Yoshikazu Iwanami (Dive!!)
Studio: J.C.Staff

you say as if they are the ones deciding, studios are just people hired to make things for the producers, they can't decided what to do when it comes to adaptations

This is concerning, just took a look at J.C shows and they seem to focus on romance and fan-service, they have good shows but OPM doesn't seem to fit their specialty

I care more about the direction of each episode and the mixture of comedy, action and on-point parody in OPM than the animation while it was good, what made get hooked is how each episode was hilarious and entertaining at the same time without taking itself too seriously or getting too lost in comedy to entertain, I assume the one's responsible for that balance is the director? If so it makes me worry that the show will lose it's magic

J.C. Staff did really good with familiar of zero, danmachi, and hehe.. shimoneta xD i have very little doubts that they will surpass people's expectations

J.C staff hmm...they are the type of studios which can do a good job in romance, slice of life, magic Genre animes.....but for them to do a streamline shounen anime that's quite an experiment...and it's opm we are talking about which was made by madhouse..

The general vibe I got from researching them is that their kind of a mediocre company, but by no means atrocious.

They did all of Index and Railgun as well. Plus a bunch of other shows that are good. They are a good company but I don't think they are fit for OPM.
