Mangaka Daisuke Satou Dies

Daisuke Satou, a novelist, game designer and manga story writer passed away on March 22 at the age of 52. He died from ischemic heart disease. The family already held a funeral for him in these past four days.

Satou wrote Highschool of the Dead, which has been on hiatus since 2013. He also wrote Koukoku no Shugosha between June 2004 to September 2007, in addition to many other manga.

R.I.P Daisuke Satou. You change my life thank you for making wonderful Manga to read and anime to watch. Highschool of the Dead is one of my favourite anime and I am so sad that there's no second season of Highschool of the Dead will come. Thank you for making my life wonderful

sad news indeed but my sister would be more saddened to this news than me, i like HOTD but not as much as her, its one of her most favorite animes, no more Season 2 then....

Such a sad thing to hear i was a fan of HOTD, i don't know if his brother can continue it or something but i very much doubt we will see a ending to Highschool of the Dead.
