Original TV Anime 'Seiren' to Broadcast in Winter 2017

An official website and Twitter account have been launched to announce that an original anime by free illustrator Kisai Takayama will be broadcast on TV. Titled Seiren, it will premiere in Winter 2017 via TBS and BS-TBS. More information will be revealed at a later date.

I like this artists style. Looks great. Still a bit early, but I'll keep my eye out for more info on a plot.

Clearly the same character design as Amagami. But in the VN art style. Perhaps that means they plan on developing a VN or something on top of the anime?

But I assume it'll be another romance genre. Whether it'll be a similar setup, a shred universe, or another omnibus format style remains to be seen.

Though since it only showed one girl, I wouldn't mind if it was an entire singular romance rather than another omnibus series.

The character design looks great, but as people have already pointed out it is reminiscent of Amagami SS. On another note, I feel as though this is too early to say anything as we barely know a thing at this point.

Still waiting for a Hibiki Arc. But please let it be the MC going for the BFF for once. Hibiki was so adorable when she said "she wanted to get confessed too" to back in Amagami SS.

I thought the art looked familiar and it it turned out I already know the illustrator. I've yet to see Amagami SS though.
