Was expecting Mob Psycho to be more than this.

Smells like another Rokka no Yuusha (sitting at 638 vol1 sale now). Both Alderamin & Cheer danshi had quality stuff, rip.
Thought Joker Game was more Western taste, but nice Japan recognize good art & story, even if episodic.

I am honestly not surprised at how the sales turned out for Love Live Sunshine, in all honesty I think it is way better than the original in all honesty (this is coming from someone who isn't the biggest fan of Love Live)

Hopefully streaming sales saved it.

You'll find the first six episodes tracks the original closely in structure and in terms of parallels but with differing details. The last seven are by no means rehashes what-so-ever. So, don't just drink the Kool-aid of LL Sunshine "Ripoff" assertions - I have a suspicion most of those people quit on the show in three episodes. It is extremely difficult, and I've not seen anyone made an actual case beyond a drive-by assertion, to claim that the events of Episode 7 on have much in the way of parallels to the original, never mind being rehashes.

Now, if your complaint is that the premise is the same, then, you do have a point. However, keep in mind different story-lines can be run with the exact same premise.

It was probably an older estimate before the final estimate. Generally, estimates on Amazon Stalker are not that accurate until around 1 week before the release date, because the estimate can be heavily influenced by the past 7 days performance per how the estimation formula works.

ah okay, I somehow had some high 7k, low 8k in mind. Guess that was something else or an old estimate.

Love Live Sunshine is such a brilliant retard check honestly. Seriously there is nothing in the directing, cinematography, music, character design, pacing, whatever you want to critique there is nothing that is subpar to the original. Fans spoke, haters will continue to look ignorant on forums.

If you did not enjoy it that is completely fine, enjoying the original cast more, the original music more, all fine. To say that it is not an equal production to the original however would simply be choosing to be ignorant.

Yeah, I completely agree with you, but the last episode in particular was one giant WTFfest. If they're coming with character songs then yeah we can expect decent sales. Idk it looks to me that this franchise is popular enough to get another season in the future

i guess my expectations were too high for Re Zero. I thought it would reach 20000

6,452 with the DVD sales. Its estimate was 6.2~6.3k, so it was just right in the end. Better than being wildly overestimated, I would say...

everyone saying New Game! is selling well... and those number are nice don't get me wrong... but didn't they expect a bit more from estimates and all or am I mixing things up here?
I had my hopes a little higher up for this so kinda torn. Obviously 5.7k is still amazing but expected more :(
