BL Manga 'Hitorijime My Hero' Gets Anime Adaptation

It was announced via the official website and Twitter account of Ichijinsha's gateau boys-love magazine that Memeko Arii's yaoi manga, Hitorijime My Hero, will be getting an anime adaptation. More information about the anime will be revealed at a later date.

Hitorijime My Hero has been serialized in the magazine since February 2012. It currently has four compiled manga volumes with its fifth releasing on July 15. The fifth volume will have two editions, both with a flap revealing the announcement. It has also been announced via Twitter that the series already reached 700,000 copies in print. Its parent story, Hitorijime Boyfriend, was released in 2010 with one volume.

I like this! I may have to give it a read. I'm not super big on BL always, but this seems neat.

In Japan at the moment so I bought it at Animate. Probably Japanese Amazon would be the best option.
I think volume 5 just came out so there isn't too much to catch up to.

Just had to go out and buy the 1st 3 volumes. It'll be my reading project before the anime comes out. From what I've read, it's pretty good!
Not much of it is scanned only the parent series is completely scanned. Anyway, I'd recommend those who are/will be in Japan to purchase it! You'll be in for a treat! :)

I think all the teenage girls are a little wet at the moment hearing this news. I am not surprised....this first looks very meh to me. I may skip it since I'm not a fan of these shows usually unless they do something cool like Black Butler.

Meh if this is gonna be a TV adaptation they'll most likely censor the sex scenes, if there is any that is. I wouldn't want another Love Stage sorry. Won't be hyped until we get further details.
