'Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records' Anime Adaptation Announced

The May 2016 issue of Dragon Magazine, which will go on sale on March 19, has announced that the fantasy light novel Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records will be receiving an anime adaptation.

The series written by Tarou Hitsuji, with illustrations by Kurone Mishima, has been publishing since 2014 and has five volumes in print. A manga adaptation drawn by Aosa Tsunemi is also being serialized in Shounen Ace magazine.

Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records is the winner of the 26th Fantasia Taisho, an award by publisher Fujimi Shobo which recognizes new writers in its catalog.

Synopsis
Sistina attends a magical academy to hone her skills in the magical arts, hoping to solve the mystery of the enigmatic Sky Castle. After the retirement of her favorite teacher, the replacement, Glen, turns out to be a tardy, lazy, and seemingly incompetent bastard of an instructor. How is it that Glen was hand-picked by the best magician in the academy?! (Source: Tribuo Scans)

TBH, already try this, and found sky wizard more interesting... at least sky wizard MC is not a dick and give more belivable reason to his behavior... i can't stand this series MC, like at all...

still give it a try anime thou..

The cover looks quite mainstream .
But we should judge an anime by looking at its cover, right?
I admit I though Kono Subarashii would be another mainstream anime.
Needless to say, I was wrong.

This quite reminds me something else in some way except for the Teacher getting beaten by a student lol. I'm still going to watch it because to me, regardless of what people say personally, its one of those series that interested me in some way.

Demn this is one of my favorite Magical School Fantasy(aside from Mahou Sensei Negima), it's generic but it has some good explanations about magical theories, it's a pseudo GTO and Trinity Seven Combined.

That school "uniform" is very inappropriate on multiple levels. Not the reason I'm going to skip watching the show though. Generic LN adaptations are slowly killing anime.

Cannot stop laughing upon looking at the girls' school uniform. I've seen much weirder ones, but this one is just so stupid. Sleeveless, midriff-baring, and design that's better suited for mahou shoujo series. Don't tell me the male students also sport the same kind of uniform?
