Staff of 'New Game!' TV Anime Announced

A stand-up sign advertising the upcoming New Game! TV anime and its original manga has announced the production staff for the series.

Staff
Director: Yoshiyuki Fujiwara (Plastic Memories)
Series Composition: Fumihiko Shimo (Hidan no Aria AA)
Character Design: Ai Kikuchi (Mikakunin de Shinkoukei)
Studio: Doga Kobo

Voice cast members of the series, which have yet to be announced, will appear at a stage event at AnimeJapan 2016, which will be held March 25–27 at Tokyo Big Sight.

New Game! has been publishing in Manga Time Kirara Carat since the magazine's March 2013 issue. The third compiled manga volume (cover pictured) will go on sale on January 27.

There's no way this will be a short, New Game is like the next big Manga Time Kirara series and will probably be bigger than Gochiusa. They would be stupid to throw away money by making it a short.

It could be a short because it's a 4-koma manga, but Doga Kobo also did GSNK and that ended up being a full length episode 1-cour series so you never know.

Directed by the director of GJ Buu and Mikakunin? Its all about the source material then since Mikakunin is great and GJ Buu is not bad but not that great either.

Sweet, love several of their previous cgdct shows, and love New Game!'s source material. This oughta be a very strong show for whichever season in which it airs.
