In this movie, i`ll expect tons of animation error because of TOEI

Even though this movie is aimed for kids, our big friends in Japan are already keeping an eye on this one because of those qt protagonists, some are P.IDL fans.

This will be our new Precure franchise.

Lmao, seems like a lot of people still doubt the goat-ness of Toei movie, I never doubt them when it comes to production value(in their movie at least since it's rarely had a time constrain and they can ask for as much time as they need), with the budget they possess, they can make anything and get anything they want, I'm more concerned about the story and the premise, save the world with dancing? smh.

Toei is for a good 5 years the biggest producer of anime Movies in Japan, before that it was already one of the biggest. From 4-5 movies they produce per year I don't know why you're complaining of this. Specially when One Piece is getting a movie this year. I didn't see you complaining that they shouldn't make that movie.

Yeah, except DB and OP(which are indeed so popular that they can afford trips like latest Saint Seiya) which films covers at least the production cost.

I don't know if I really understood what you said. Are you saying that other movies don't cover the production costs?

. All Precure Movies do cover, they do 1 Billion Yen in the Box Office or close to that every year, and there are 2 of them every year
. Digimon Tri 1st movie certainly covered and they will make 5 more of those
. Expelled from Paradise certainly covered and due the huge success they will make another movie in that line: Kado - Correct answer for. Possible that movie will be released even this year.
. We don't know about Buddha movie 1 and 2, though they will make a 3rd one
. We don't know about Rainbow Fireflies
. We don't know about Asura
. We don't know about Saint Seiya Legend of the Sanctuary nor Captain Harlock Movies. Note that we only get an estimate for this movies cost, estimates that don't even have a source. From the Financial Reports Toei have, they were popular movies, especially Captain Harlock. Were they mega popular? probably not(Harlock was the most popular Japanese movie ever in France and Italy), but did they cover the production costs? We don't know, but by looking at Toei Animation financial numbers it seems they did.

This year we will get
- Digimon Movies(2 already confirmed, probably 3 or 4)
- One Piece Film Gold
- Precure Movies(2 of them)
- File(N): Project(PQ)(Being Released this year is just a maybe for now)
- Kado - Correct answer for(Like File(N) is just a maybe for now)
- Buddha 3rd Movie(Like Kado, just a maybe)

So they will release around 5-10 movies this year. From all this movies why complain about an original movie that there is no way to know what kind of popularity will have?

The budget for movies has nothing to do with TV series budget, so there is no relevance at all how much Toei spends in each Movie. Toei Animation has 5 anime running right now, and will have at least 6 running at some point this year with the return of Sailor Moon Crystal. And they have a series planned for the future(Temple) that can possible also start this year. So, it would be better to complain about the number of TV series, instead of movies.

They in 2014 ran 8 series at the same time(Matsutarou, Precure, Dragon Ball kai, One Piece, Majin Bone, Marvel Disk Wars, Sailor Moon Crystal, Robot Girls Z) and had 5 movies(Precure All Star, Precure Movie, Buddha 2, Saint Seiya Legend of Sanctuary, Expelled from Paradise). This year will certainly not be as busy as 2014.

The main problem of a continuing long running TV anime isn't even the budget, but the time given to each episode, and the management of that time, that is also related with the efficiency and quality of the Human resources(workers).
Also the budget they spend in a series is related with the money the investors provide(Sponsors, advertisement and the Television Station) , the return money and when that return comes. They don't just spend tons of money(100k to 300k dollars per episode), without knowing when and if they will ever get back the money, and if from that they will get profit.

Wow Toei, why dont you just stick to your money maker One Piece and try to animate it a little bit better instead of trying such dumb shit.

What is the problem with "dancing to save the world"? I think is a cool concept.
Yea if there can something as singing to save the world/end wars etc(Macross) don't see the problem with dancing :P

Actually it's even more interesting how they'll do that.

They aren't idols! They are highshcool students that were transporte to another world, similar to Digimon.
Idol is the group that is collaborating with this movie. If you seen the trailers, the musics that this show will have and the choreography that the girls will do is done by the "real life" Idol group.

What is the problem with "dancing to save the world"? I think is a cool concept.

oh so you're saying that the main characters in the movie are just normal high school girl characters but the songs & dance is based on the real life idols? I still kinda see this as idol promotion movie tho.... the concept of saving world by dance sounds funny to me, but hey it'll depend on how the movie does it
