Additional 'Young Black Jack' Cast Announced

Additional cast and staff members for the Young Black Jack has been announced on its official Twitter account. The announcement was originally made at the TBS Anime Festa event, which also previewed the first episode of the series and revealed a new key visual (pictured right).

Kuroo Hazama: Yuuichirou Umehara (Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu LOVE!)
Yabu: Kouji Yusa (Hakuouki)
Maiko Okamoto: Shizuka Itou (High School DxD)
Narrator: Ootsuka Akio (Ghost in the Shell)

Series Composition: Ryosuke Takahashi (Soukou Kihei)

Young Black Jack, which is the prequel to original the Black Jack manga by Osamu Tezuka, is written by Yoshiaki Tabata and illustrated by Yuugo Okuma. The manga has been serialized in Young Champion magazine since its debut in 2011. The anime adaptation was announced in May, which is set to air in Fall 2015.

Looking good, interested to see how Tezuka Productions will hold up. Great that Yusa Kouji got casted, one of my favourite seiyuu.

Ume-taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! <3 <3 I was excited for this anime as it is, but now Ume-tan is voicing young Black Jack! Oh my gosh. >///< And making Black Jack a bishie, this a dream come true.

P.S Before any of you call me a fangirl, yes, yes I am. BUT, I also have watched the original Black Jack anime so that's a big reason why I'm excited too.

And here i was scared about not gettimg the glorious Ootsuka Akio for this new BJ anime. At least he's in there. Would've prefered him as hazama though.
