'Magical Pâtissière Kosaki-chan' to be Animated in Episode 8 of 'Nisekoi:'

The official website of the currently airing Spring 2015 series Nisekoi: announced that the spin-off manga Magical Pâtissière Kosaki-chan will be animated in the eighth episode. The cast of Nisekoi: will reprise their roles as alternate versions of their characters, and Kana Hanazawa will sing the opening theme song "Magical☆Styling." The episode will be broadcast on May 29.

Magical Pâtissière Kosaki-chan uses an alternate setting where Kosaki Onodera, whose family runs a Japanese sweets shop, is transformed into a magical girl. The manga has been serialized in Shounen Jump+ since December 2014, and the first volume will be released on June 4.

Reason is simple, because plot doesn't exist in Nisekoi. SHAFT knows that the main selling point of Nisekoi right now is the girls, and the most popular one among them is Kosaki-chwan, hence the spin-off adaption mixed in the main series.

Agreed, its not like this season is 20 episodes long as well. There really isn't any need to shorten it any further through side stories.

Hell Yes! This spin-off needs a full adaptation though. Half a episode isn't satisfying enough.

So what do we get after Haru’s introduction? A random episode from a Nisekoi spin-off manga, as if the series didn’t have enough fillers already. As I said in the Nisekoi forums, this is pretty disappointing (even if it’s only for the first half).

Just make that into an OVA instead.

Oh. Well, that's not so bad then, but still sightly irritating. Might as well enjoy it until it ends and hope that the main plot moves along a bit more quickly to compensate.
