Manga 'Sankarea' to End Next Volume

The 10th volume of manga Sankarea reveals that the manga series will be ending next volume. The final volume will be released November 7, 2014 and contain at least one special chapter.

The series, created by mangaka Mitsuru Hattori, began publishing in 2009 and received a TV anime adaptation in 2012.

Holy shit, it's been five years already?

Well, I guess it makes sense; this latest arc is basically "make it or break it" in finding the cure for Rea. And it seems like many of the important questions are starting to get wrapped up.

After the ZOMA arc it was kind of disappointing; it felt like something more epic oculd happen. Though it's still miles and above what most other Harem series had to offer in content.

I hope Darin becomes the final heroine...

Looks like a tragic ending is in sight so far. The last 3 chapter has been pretty much depressing and they started flash back/forward in time. So that's not a good sign...

I guess anime didn't help sales much. Smells like an ax, story doesn't look like it can be properly concluded with just one more volume. But who knows.
