Hirano Kouta's New Manga Announced

Hirano Kouta (the author of "Hellsing") was announced to start a new manga series from April 30th. The title hasn't been given yet, but a key illustration was shown in Yong King OURS magazine March issue.

The last volume of "Hellsing" will be released on March 27th.

Hirano hinted in his blog last August that he wanted to write a fantasy series and one-shot mystery story taking place early in the 20th century. And he showed a draft illustration of a male character, whom he wanted to put in his new series. It's unknown that this character will appear in the new series announced in the magazine.

Happy to hear he's working on another manga. I'm looking foward to more of his random humor. Hopefully it won't be as erractically released as Hellsing was though.

And yes, Hellsing is more popular. For good reasons too.

VK is "Twilight" of anime/manga - "vampires in name,destroying the mythology"

So yes, I am hoping that this new manga will be at least as good as Hellsing. Something will need to fill up the "too gar to be goodie" slot of manga world.

Now that I think of it, Hirano should focus on The Dawn first. But knowing how he works, we're in for a long wait.

Hahaha. I'm not familiar with this mangaka, but the preview drawing above looked somewhat interesting. I'll probably end up checking it out.

He sure looks like Alexander Anderson.

And Vampire Knight not,it's too shoujo,Trinity Blood manga too have a shoujo like draft,but it's a hell more shounen in the action,but still not is a shounen.

Whem he said he wanted something more fanthasy-like for his next manga,iI thinked of a Bastard like manga but I was wrong.
