Short TV Anime 'Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life' to Have Second Season From Jan 2014

According to the latest issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine, the 5-minute CG anime "Wooser no Sono Higurashi", based on a journal blog created by Supercell member and desginer Usa Yoshiki, will have a second season starting January 2014. The first season was aired in October 2012 and was made by studio Sanzigen. It has not been yet disclosed if the new season will have the same staff or the same cast.

According to Newtype November Edition (written on an unofficial site), 2nd Season will start airing on January 7, 2014 25:35~, which means January 8, 2014 midnight.

The official website http://wooser.tv/ is now updated with 2nd season details

Confirmed the studio and seiyuu cast stay the same (so you will have Miyano Mamoru again). Only the director is changed as far as I can tell (from Yamada Toyotoku to Setou Kenji).

It can be about anything, I wouldn't really care. 5 minutes doesn't take up a whole lot of time.

Shorter episodes let me relax better than a 25 minute one.

I don't know about will I or will not watch the second season, first was ok, but nothing special... lacks "that something", but doesn't have something defined to constantly complain on and say it's bad, even in terms of really short episode duration anime. Well, i guess episode is just enough to have yourself entertained while pooping or something like that.

Something about the art style of this kind of reminds me of Ebichu the Housekeeping Hamster. Is it as deliciously depraved though is the question.

And for the record the bonus episode is in fact 5 minutes (4:55) long, not 3 minutes... none of the episodes are 3 minutes. They are all 4 minutes plus time for the end card and quiz.

This was a show I just didn't get and I don't know if I would watch a second season.

I dropped the first one then reluctantly picked it back up just for the sake of completion since it was so short.

The character design is so perfect for merchandise, just like Hello Kitty, so it is easy to imagine whole range of stationery, accessories, figures and plush toys made out of the franchise. In fact the announcement from Dengeki Hobby magazine about the new season is mostly about the new plush doll of Wooser. The 2nd season notification is more like a side note there lol
