so what language will the movie be in? it's a jap story, with french production and a lead who speaks only korean? talk about confused.

Because it's going to be primarily a US release most likely English. Plus I hear Jeon Ji-Hyun is/was taking English lessons because she wanted to get involved in Hollywood.

I didn't care for Blood: The Last Vampire as much as Blood+, mainly because Saya had some serious attitude problems, but I am looking forward to this movie. The casting looks great and hopefully the action will match. I will see it for the sake of experience.

Yeah, I agree that blood+ was better o.o but Blood the last is still a good moive,

Can't wait for the live action to come out :D

Looks good, hopefully they don't screw it up with crappy cg chiropterans. And I agree, a Blood+ movie would be wickeder, Hagi is outright awesome and Saya's a good deal cuter in that. But then they'd probably have issues putting it all into one movie... need something more along the lines of three. Maybe two, but three would be my guess.

Old news, heard about this for the first time back in early '06. I'm still very excited about it though, especially since it's going to be a US theatrical release. Apparently it's slated for Spring '08, so many upcoming movies I want to see!

Chris Nahon..... :O He did Lempire des loups with Jean Reno..... That movie wasn't anything spectacular, but it was pretty cool and had lots of action.

If you're not looking for the movie to be meaningful and deep, and just want action, you'll be pleased

It's an easy mistake to make.

Jeon Ji-Hyun, hell yea! My Sassy Girl, Windstuck, and Il Mare!

yeah as far as everthing ive read about this, its all based on Blood: the last Vampire, not the TV series. But if it does well they could set it up for a sequal that has all the characters from the series.

Also this isnt a japanese made movie, the director is french.
