Joho,

So you're watching Gintama that's great.

Well let me give you an advice.
Just for your information.

The first Episodes and following few Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people, so maybe for you as well.

But it will improve a lot afterwards.
So I hope you will keep on watching Gintama

Thank you. Unfortunately I didn't go to Specsavers so I had to press right up against the screen to read your message, and got a smack on the head instead ...

Still, no worries :)

Well, I haven't seen either. I don't think the FSN movie is out yet, is it? But yeah, I do suspect that one will be worth watching.

Also, that English class sounds stupid. The obvious conclusion is, draw a ⑨

Been a busy week :v

And no, I wouldn't say Soranowoto is good. It looks great, and it sounds pleasant, but otherwise it is quite devoid of any quality. Bland characters, trite plot, the works.

What you really should be watching is Durarara!!. Maybe Baccano! first because Durarara!! contains a small, though not insignificant, spoiler of sorts for that one.

Regardless, Durarara!! is the only thing worth seeing currently on the air.

Season 3 doesn't quite live up to either season 1 or 2 with story strength, but it does have a fun new storyline branch (if that makes any sense) that keeps things interesting. If you didn't care for season 2 you could probably skip it without missing too much. Try a couple episodes and see where it goes. Unfortunately (sometimes) for me, once I start a series I have to finish it before I move on. Let me know what you thought of it if you do watch it.

You don't need any special glasses to watch this. The guys who made the movie don't seem to be as up themselves as Jimmy Cameron. I hope The Hurt Locker continues to kick his arse at the Oscars.

Hmmn. For me, that scene was the straw that broke the camel's back. I couldn't find a single episode of Ouran not-sexist. It was all about "Haruhi, stay over there and let the men handle it from here." I've heard many people argue your position, but the "Haruhi vs. the men" confrontation just happens so much that it's ridiculous. Adding on to that, rarely does this "the men" block ever separate - they always seem to stick together as one entity representing the "male."

Just my two cents, though.

OHHH Vic Mignogna? LOL. Eh he's ok I guess. I don't worship him or anything though. He never did anything for me to dislike him either.

Yeah the manga industry is doing much better, mostly because people still buy manga for whatever reasons they have. Also it's much cheaper to make a manga, license a manga, translate a manga, and print volumes. At least much cheaper then to deal with creating anime, licensing it, and releaseing it. People just aren't buy anime anymore :( . That's the main reasons though. And although the manga industry is not perfect, it's still in a good postion. Even so they had to raise the prices on certain stuff all around recently.

By person who's name starts with "V" who do you mean lol? And yes I am a huge dub supporter. It would be nice to see the industry in better condition then it currently is.But with the support for anime in general being pretty crappy, it's no surprise. Still I would like to see New York City and Vancouver get more dubs then they are getting. A few random dubs from Coastal Sarolina Studios would be nice once in awhile as well. Seems like all we get are dubs from LA or Funi's studio in texas these days. And at times it can be kinda stale. I'd also like to hear more from ADV's studio in Texas.

hmm i don't know. I happened to get those wtf moments too pondering how the F that happened, but few episodes after, I will be like "HOLY SHIT so that's how that happened," and I would be amused xD

Just saying
for the average 15 yr old, watching it for the action, is a waste.
Again, I am in no way implying that ALL 15 year olds are not complex or
sophisticated.
Just the average, average American, Japanese, Whatever Kid, do not
watch Planetes just for the action.
Aj_Smiles_XIV Jan 26, 2009 7:40 AM
Probably better than finding it dubbed in English.
Kaiserpingvin Nov 19, 2008 10:15 AM
Aye, 'tis marvelous. One must have a weekly dose of DFC and well-directed comedy or one withers and becomes a squid or something equally cool but impractical.
