Third Movie of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Announced

Would be interesting to see something between A's and StrikerS. Like how Suzuka, Alisa and her own family took the news of her being a mage. The events leading up to and the aftermath of her injury. How they met Carim, Verosa and some of the other characters in StrikerS to help reduce the amount of character build ups and back story needed if they do in deed make a StrikerS movie. Maybe even Nanoha and Hyate seeing Michilda for the first time.

But I imagine that they may be going for a sort of bridge between A's and StrikerS for the back story reduction. Because even if they do take a hatchet to the StrikerS filler eps and cut down some of the characters that had little or no importance to the story, your still left with a crap ton of characters that they'd need to give back stories too.

I'm excited now. I love the Nanoha series. And. I'm not usually a magical girl type of person...but who doesn't love giant pink beams of befriending?

I hope this movie is in between A's and StrikerS and tells us about the 'Nanoha Incident' as well as how Fate came to adopt Erio and Caro. Those two are my favorites, to be honest. They're adorable together - even if they are pretty much adoptive siblings. In the series you saw glimpses of both Caro and Erio's past and it was explained more within the manga...so I really want to see Erio and Fate's meeting animated.c:

The movies after can be StrikerS.

When you see the evolution of this series. After StrikerS, Force is a logical development. More Sci-Fi, even more Military. That's the global direction of Nanoha since the first season.

According to mangaupdates, BetrayerS has been translated years ago (1626 days ago, to be exact, on the day of this post).
It is only a doujinshi and not an official manga though, so it won't be animated.

I can't wait for the new movie and I would love it was retelling the story of StrikerS or just a movie adaptation of Vivid or the new non translated manga BetrayerS. Not that I really care as long as I can get my share of Nanoha x Fate I'm happy.

Yeah I've got one person who's told me that it says "not related to the games or animated material" and some of these news posts say "completely original" so I want to know if the translation is correct or not.

To be exact it said "New story not related to any past anime or game content...completely original"

My guess is that whoever made the comment didn't want to list everything that completely original entailed. So he listed the two most common things the movie could be based off of, and then said "completely original" to get the point across that he was referring to a completely new work, not based off of any past content.

I was a little surprised that the third movie won't be a StrikerS one. I wonder if they take it to a new direction of an alternative future. Or if they make a fourth movie that will be StrikerS.
