At the live event "THE IDOLM@STER MUSIC FESTIV@L OF WINTER!!" held in Makuhari on February 10th, an anime movie of The iDOLM@STER was announced. It will be a brand new original story produced by the staff of the TV series.

We got Million Live Girls in the movie, it's not the Cinderella Girls but still that just made my day. There is no excuse for A-1 have either one in season 2. Hopefully this will turn out to be advertising for the PS4 or Vita games with them in it.

Yes. The iDOLM@STER has amazing cast, all girls are at the very least decent with easily half of main group being outright great.I still don't get it? Are the girls that good or something else?
Show takes its sweet time to get really good though, I realized it's fav territory only around ep 08 iirc.
There are a lot of Cinderella but what about their quality? So far I never felt the need to get to know them even though I spent dozens of hours on iM@S.

All types of attractive girls with thier own character arcs, good music, a bit of drama and a whole lot of feel good comedy. But that's just why I like it. Somebody like symbv would have to tell you why it was successful in Japan (the people who made it popular).
That's just the main series, Cinderella Girls is even more diverse, it has almost everything from mixed race idols, idols from all over the world (even one from the US), many different body types (we got some BBW in the series) many age groups as well (youngest is 8 oldest is 33).

Hmmm, i'm interested. Maybe it's time to watch Idolmaster and see how good it is.
