New OVA of The iDOLM@STER Announced

According to Famitsu.com, a three-episode OVA of The iDOLM@STER was announced at the live event THE IDOLM@STER 7th Anniversary. The OVA will be bundled with the new iM@S game "iDOLM@STER Shiny Festa", which will be released in three different versions: "Honey Sound", "Funky Note", and "Groovy Tune". Each version will carry only one episode of the OVA. The production staff are the same as those of the TV series.

Well, just ended to watch these OVAs, and as i thought, in terms of animation, resuming, is equal to Flash.

Order of OVAs: don't mind.

If people think this is milking the franchise, they've obviously aren't aware the high cost of the game's DLC. Or the slot machine. Or how much money people have spent on the gachas for the Cinderella Girls. Or the amount of CDs being put out related to the franchise. Or the size of the live concerts. There is a VERY HIGH DEMAND for iDOLM@STER, so naturally, Scamco, as a business, will provide and profit from it. An announcement like this is probably just Tuesday for the hardcore iM@S fans.

Plus, this in no way precludes a second season. If anything it makes it more likely because more money = more output.

Plus Idolmaster is making a bunch of new manga, so the franchise isn't going anywhere. I'd be surprised if there ISN'T a 2nd anime season.

Ew, that isn't good, those are region locked and while it's easy to mod to or grab a region 0 DVD player, few these days would want to buy a JP PSP for this game only.
