According to V Jump magazine, Broccoli's trading card game "Z/X-Zillions of enemy X" was announced to get an anime adaptation.

Characters of Z/X

The story takes place in a near future. The earth is suddenly invaded by bizarre creatures, which emerge from five "Black Points"—warp gates connecting different parallel worlds. The objective of the invasion is to converge the possibility of the future by eliminating other parallel worlds. In order to make a counterattack, five teenage boys and girls summon heroes and monsters by Z/X card devices.

But Vanguard get 5 season. You know it will be better if this is at least 52 episode with the first quarter is introduction to the card and the rule then add a bit character to the second quarter thus finish the plot in the last half of the series.

Few would buy BDs, a 52 ep series costs well over $2000 if it isn't a boxset and even a boxset can run near, at, or over $1000.

Last time I check even if it is low Vanguard still selling. Then again something like this relly of merchandise.

Even moreso with this anime, being late night worthy.

I'm just hoping for a video game to out. Collecting TCG is worthless to me if I can't find someone to play with.

It's been out for the PS3.

I'm watching it because I adore Azumi Kagamihara and her card Sword Sniper Rige. So glad to hear that it will be airing during the winter but kinda bummed out that it will take a year to get over here. or unless you mean winter 2013/2014.
