Cast Change in Saki: Achiga-hen Specials
According to the official blog, the cast of Funakubo Hiroko in Saki: Achiga-hen - Episode of Side-A will be changed from Manami to Misawa Sachika. Seiyu Manami wanted to devote herself solely to the activity as a singer. Misawa will play Hiroko from Saki: Achiga-hen - Episode of Side-A Specials. The first episode of the special will be aired on December 24th.

well i stopped watching this anime after the first season and i don't think i will be coming back from my decision.

Understandable, though she did a good job with FunaQ.
Here's hoping the new VA can pull it off just as well, especially considering that she will have the extra restriction of having to make it at least somewhat similar to Manami's version in order to count as doing so.

Luckily I didn't even remember her character, so I couldn't care less. It would've been a really shame if one of the main girls would've ben exchanged instead.

OK, I checked, it's Kuroyukihime's VA... I hope she does good job this time, FunaQ is very nice character.
