New Special of Milky Holmes Announced

According to the official website, a new special of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes "Alternative TWO: Kobayashi Opera to Koku no Ogarasu" was announced to be produced. A Blu-ray and DVD for Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Alternative ONE and TWO will be released on January 9th.

There is no need to, because the ALTERNATIVE series takes an entirely different approach from the TV series. In fact the ALTERNATIVE series, while look like a spinoff of Milky Holmes the TV anime, in fact sticks much closer to the original game, which is really about the four girls doing detective work using their superpower and is not a gag or parody show like the TV anime. In that sense, the TV series is more like a spinoff of the game itself. So no prior knowledge about the TV series is needed to watch the OVA.

I certainly don't mind more Milky Holmes. It's a pretty funny show, though not a style everyone would like.
