Author of D.N.Angel Announces New Manga '1001 (Knights)'

In the July issue of Monthly ASUKA, Yukiru Sugisaki, the mangaka who wrote and illustrated D.N.Angel, announced a new manga series titled "1001 (Knights)", that will begin its serialization in the August issue of Monthly ASUKA to be released on June 23, 2012.

The story begins with two twin brothers, who arrive in Dubai in search of their missing father. "One Thousand and One Nights" (also known as "Arabian Nights") was mentioned in the announcement, hinting towards the atmosphere of the manga.

I think that with her it's something like this:

...are you kidding me? Woman, finish DNAngel first! I mean it's her right to just abandon her project, but it's so frustrating for the fans. I'll definitely wait a while before I even think of picking up this new thing of hers. I won't fall in love again only to be disappointed. D:

She may have wrote herself into a corner and couldn't get out of it, possibly one of the reasons why she couldn't complete D.N Angel. It just feels like she abandon it and decides to do something different like 1001 Knights. Whatever, good luck to that. Let's see how Yukiru-san fairs with her new work.

If she's going to write something new it should be a sequel to Candidate for Goddess. D: I'm just hopeful.

I freaking love Dn Angel, it's one of my favorite mangas ever even though she hasn't finished it.
