Shocking. I actually thought Kajiura + Kalafina would outsell LiSA easily...
I LiSA really that big of an idol over there in Japan?
Angel Beats! music sold phenomenally well in all forms, LiSA or otherwise, so that certainly got her well known at least in anisong circles. I think that Oath Sign being the OP to the first cour/season is a bit of an advantage too, as sales attrition over time is normal.
I believe this is the case.
Actually I think it's more that LiSA has both Fate/Zero and Angel Beats fans buying her single while Kalafina have only Fate/Zero fans. 'to the beginning' is Kalafina's best-selling single to the date, barely surpassed their 'Magia' single. Kalafina has more niche fanbase than LiSA.

I would rejoice so much if Natsume would sell more than Highschool DxD in the end.

She's not really that big. But in my opinion, it was a far better song than anything that the 2nd season has had. So I'm not surprised to see it outsell S2s songs.
Oath Sign was my favorite OP/ED of 2011.

Wow Fate/Zero 2nd season ED is more popular than OP!!! I like both songs, so it's fine, though.
That's not necessarily the case. Sora wa Takaku sold more because it was released after TTB, hence TTB's sales diminished with time while it the ED was released last week so its sales hasn't decreased that much yet.

What?? Kuroko's music is doing badly... but the opening is so good! I love the song. I'm addicted. :O
Grats to Sakamichi no Apollon and Hyouka. Nice music.
Moretsu's not doing bad either. :D

Yeah Kill Me Baby! Keep clawing your way up there!
It had to be sarcasm, based on the fact that this volume sold a whole 1 copy more than the previous. Proof that KMB is on the way up!! (Kidding, of course.)
Oh I see. :)

Anzu's track is still selling however

http://www.siliconera.com/2012/05/07/japanese-social-games-risk-seeing-crackdown/
The game itself might be discontinued since it's a compu-gacha and a blatant one at that.
As much as I like Idolmaster, thats probably a good thing. I completely hate that kind of selling tactic in general because its very sleazy.
I agree however the game itself should not be abandoned completely and I wouldn't mind Cinderella Girls ported to a handheld with extra features (SE ported FM 2089 to the DS no probs).
They could and should port it to the 3DS or Vita, 3DS would be a better idea since it would be cheaper and faster to port a game like this to the 3DS.

does anyone know whether it was a high level or low level project?
In terms of what, budget and sales expectations and such? The first season got a sequel on only 4,824 average, so I'm assuming it wasn't expected to be a 10k seller or anything like that.
thank you for always answering my questions friend! :)
Hmm...so even in the first season it didn't sell that well huh? So I presume like you said they didn't expect great sales this time either....hmmm...
but if it doesn't sell well, why did they give it a second reason? rather...IF it was a high level project? And what IS the minimum for a low level anime anyway?
