FUNimation and Sentai Filmworks Announcements at Anime Boston

According to their official press release, FUNimation Entertainment announced at Anime Boston that they have licensed both seasons of Jormungand, Lupin the Third: Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna (Lupin III~Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna~), and Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead (Is this A Zombie? of the Dead). Also announced were additional home video rights to Mirai Nikki (The Future Diary).

FUNimation will stream the episodes on their website and Niconico during the Spring 2012 season. Further release details for the series have not yet been announced.

Sentai Filmworks announced its acquisitions of the streaming and home video rights to the two TV series Sakamichi no Apollon (Kids on the Slope) and Nazo no Kanojo X (Mysterious Girlfriend X). Both series will be streamed on The Anime Network and on Hulu 31 days after they stream on Crunchyroll.

Sentai Filmworks also confirmed that their dubbed release of Persona 4 The Animation will use the English dub cast from the original Persona 4 PlayStation 2 game. Sentai Filmworks will release the anime on DVD and Blu-ray later this year.

i hope that they dub Mirai Nikki and if so they should do it as best as they can i don't wont a bad dub of Mirai Nikki thats all

Because the more options we have, the better. And it will definitely have the Japanese version, no one is going to force you to watch the English dub.
Kids on the Slope looks to be like a pretty amazing anime, so good for Sentai on getting it.

I think the P4 dub is superior, seriously. Kanji, Rise, Yosuke, Dojima, Adachi, and Yukiko all sound better in English, in my opinion.

Again, personally, I like dubs. There are good dubs, and there are bad dubs. (To be honest, most, if not all, of Sentai's dubs are god-awful.) FUNimation's dubs are generally of very high quality. I mean, have any of you ever watched Baccano! or Fullmetal Alchemist in English? That's some stellar voice work and writing, really.

Yeeeea, here's the problem with that: Johnny Yong Bosch voices both Adachi and Broswagonist in the game... Sooooo...

And Chie's and Nanako's voice makes me want to throw up all over myself...

Why dub it? The Japanese version was great as is... (I like Brosuke's Eng. voice better than his Jap. voice, though...)

Thats great news and its nice to know its not getting a bare bones release with just clean OPs/EDs and trailers which are clean OPs themselves.
