Try to watch Chihayafuru first before saying it's a total abomination.
hohe?
but I've wrote that only C3 is a true abomination, rest of them (those I've seen) are fine by me
but luckilly talk about Persona being better than Guilty Crown because of sales is not progressing here - thats a good thing :) personally neither of them is good, but at least GC is funny from time to time
yet thats how it looks in Japan :( - I'm only happy that Tamayura is doing decent in sales, well if 3,876 copies in first week is good result

You missed the sarcasm.
Sarcasm on the internet is like winking on the phone.

The only reason Chihayafaru is low is due to it being Josei, Josei anime don't sell well in Japan.
Yeah, this. Adult women generally aren't gonna pay the outrageous prices for anime, and josei is typically like the opposite of what the otaku like. I'm surprised they bother making these kinds of anime since I can't imagine they're profitable.

How the Fuck can HxH be down there with Phi Brain. For god's sake I can't even watch this :(
HxH, like nearly all long running Shonen Jump shows, airs during the day and doesn't need good DVD sales. The only one that has good sales is Gintama.
That is somehow relieving, thank you. One never stops learning :)
Still better sales would be good, I want the new HxH to go on for a couple of years if possible ^^.

Generally, with one or two exception my interests begin at like place 13 (talking about the fall season sales). Everything I enjoy sucks at sales -.-
I guess in a few years noone will produce anything decent anymore...

Only when poorly phrased, but it was still obvious from context. The point of the post was to counter the post the person he quoted made, i.e. that sales justified saying one show is better than another. Because if that were true, then it would mean every low-selling show (like Chihayafuru) is terrible... which is obviously not true, and not what he said.
In other words you were agreeing with his general point.
I guess I was too fixated on the phrase that contained the "total abomination" part.
hohe?

Honestly, I think anime aired in noitaminA weren't made to sell, so Persona 4 outdoing GC isn't very surprising at all, much more seeing it's an adaptation of a very successful video game.
