Manga 'Nyan Koi!' and 'Ookiku Furikabutte' To Be Resumed in November

According to the Flex Comix official website, the serialization of manga "Nyan Koi!" will be resumed in November. It has been suspended since March 2010 due to the author's health.

According to MyCom Journal, the serialization of manga "Ookiku Furikabutte" was announced to be resumed on November 25th. The author has been taking a break since December 2010.

thanks guys i knew about this and i really hope there will be a season 2 close enough.
i recently watched it and i find it was a great anime and the manga kept me hooked for a little while. Lets hope they would make it!

We can always hope. If we get anything, though, I would expect it to be just fanservice with very little plot. That is, if we do get anything.

Having a sequel isn't out of the question, they don't need to base it entirely on the manga. It's not like it hasn't been done before.

But, at this point, it might be just wishful thinking.

I don't think it matters if its based on a video game or not.
But, ... I didn't know they did that...

Ah, I thought Nyan Koi was going to get a S2 for a sec. I have to check out the manga though, the anime was decent.

But Kanon was based on a video game, wasn't it?

Having a sequel isn't out of the question, they don't need to base it entirely on the manga. It's not like it hasn't been done before.

But, at this point, it might be just wishful thinking.

So, for the people who don't know and should know.
There will be NO second season, it's obvious when you think about it,
when you actually follow the manga and notice the difference between the anime and manga.

So they'll have no choice but to make a "remake", if they actually plan on doing an anime of it again.

Look at,
- Fullmetal Alchemist _to_ Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
- Dragon Ball Z _to_ Dragon Ball Kai
- Kanon _to_ Kanon (2006)
ETC.

no... don't depend on a second season because it was full of fillers

They'll have to get more chapters, like 100+ and if they do it weekly, they'll have to make a "remake"
that actually follows the "whole manga"
or they could wait for it to complete and THEN, make it into a remake.

Don't worry I disliked Nyan Koi but the adaptation of Ookiku was just awesome ! Maybe an another season ?

I hope there would be a second season of Nyan Koi! It was very enjoyable and probably one of the most interesting harem shows ever made.
