Second Season of Ookiku Furikabutte Announced

According to the cover note of manga volume 13, the second season of Ookiku Furikabutte was announced. It will start next Spring.

Hmm thats cool a second season :)

but honestly i think they dragged out that match for way too long. what did it start at ep 14 and finish at 24...

but strangely it left me wanting more, and i love the characters

That's awesome. I always thought that season 1 is not enough for me,it's just too short.
I hope that this season will have longer episode and Tajima will be more in action because he is so cute!!!

The wraparound jacket band on the 13th volume of Asa Higuchi's Ookiku Furikabutte baseball manga is announcing this month that production on the second television anime season has been green-lit. The second season will premiere in spring of 2010.

Funimation acquired the North American rights to the first season of the Ookiku Furikabutte anime under the name Big Windup! and has released the season's two DVD sets this past August and September. The first episodes are streaming on Hulu.com, Funimation's own website, and ANN.

I'm so happy Ookiku Furikabutte is some of my most loved anime/manga.I can't wait for the 2nd seson.I read 23 chapters subtitled in english,so I can't wait to see the second season anime adaptation ^^

Hell yes! I got done with the dub and i must say the dub was pretty good. Im half and half on sub vs. dub also i never thought I would put a sports anime in my top ten ever but this series is amazing! Im looking forward to the dub hopefully funimation will grab this a few months after its release so we can get a dub of this! Season 2 here we come!

wikid cant wait for it. first season was surprisingly awesome. one of the best. hopefully ill be in japan teaching english at the time.
