I love Vocaloid but man..
I hope people in the US don't start saying, "Hey it's that girl from that car commercial" everytime they run into her without knowing who she really is. >.>

The commercial would only annoy Americans with Miku's high pitch and worsen the stereotypes of the Japanese people. Satisfies me though.
agreed completely, I can already imagine my dad's face and words if he saw the commerical.

Oh cool its a picture of Hatsu- BLEARAHAAARUUUUUGHH (vomiting noises). That... thing is an abomination... of Miku...
The moral of this story:
American business needs to do a better job at introducing foreign stuff to its population.

Contrary to those who thinks that way, I think it's great. The first time I saw the commercial, I thought of the tragedy that just happened, and I think it's great that Toyota is actually trying to move forward and gain its grounds. I saw it as an effort to take the powerful next step from what happened just months ago to say that we're all right now.
I don't think it's solely the Toyota company in the US that made this decision, it's like going to its roots (to what's originally from and embraced in Japan).
Just my thought. And I also agree with @Squarebox's comment.
