Exactly. The reason behind the cancellation is incredibly sad, but it gave the organisation a way out, without having to lose face.

This would have been the best news today, if it wasn't for the reasons behind it.

I know, I know, it's too soon to make jokes like that and not even Ishihara should have a disaster like that wished upon him.

I wish Tokyo and the rest of Japan the best for the future and that they can rebuild and live a normal life from now on.

Damn it Kyubey!!!!

and if you read the article, it says it's probably just postponed (which it actually is)
never go by the name of the article on sankaku, it's often misleading to what the article actually says

anyway, on topic: well, we were hoping it would be canceled, to bad the reason isn't what we were hoping for...

Well, at least one good thing happened out of all this hell.

My prayers still go to Japan however.

It's worrying, since it was cancelled, there will be less exposition of the industry's opposition to the bill, and less chances of it being cancelled.
Anyway, its not important in this moment.

I suggest to make Sankaku links forbidden on MAL, and people posting them to be banned for some period of time.

Please don't post Sankaku stories without a more reliable source to back them up. That isn't related to TAF anyway, the Madoka postponement his it's own article.

and also Madoka

What a legion of detractors could not accomplish, an earthquake and a flooded reactor have in a stroke – further broadcasts of Madoka have been completely cancelled

No particular reason has been offered other than “self-restraint,” and no date for resumption has been offered either.

The manga and possibly the disc releases have also been subject to postponements.

The decision to cancel the broadcasts has come in for more than a little criticism, particularly from fans who were counting on the series to lift their spirits after the incessant deluge of earthquake and reactor related news, and even more so from those in areas of the country completely unaffected by the quake or the power shortage.

The prevailing notion amongst publishers now appears to be that anything popular or fun must be cancelled, whether or not it has anything to do with the quake…

Anime Contents Expo has been canceled/postponed until further notice, as well.

Mar 16, 2011 2:03 AM by tsubasalover

well now they can blame it on a disaster instead of canceling because people pulled out

Figures, with whats going.

it will never be good either way

Mar 15, 2011 11:34 PM by guruguru19

The turnout was gonna be poor due to many publishers boycotting the event anyway.

Ishihara has devil's luck
