Guten tag MALiens! As a cat enthusiast, I feel it is my responsibility to ensure that you all have a healthy relationship with our feline overlords! To check your furry health status, one of the easiest measurements to look at is your Furrend/Friend ratio. I.e take the number of cats you see regularly and divide it by the number of human friends you have. You're considered to be "healthy" if you have a ratio over, or if you have more fuzzy wuzzy Furrends than human Friends. Since most cats you know are probably owned by human Friends, having a ratio over 1 gives you a high chance of being able to play with a cuddly wuddly every time you visit one of your human Friends!

For those of you with a ratio of less than one, do not fear! The easiest way to improve that ratio is to simply stop being friends with anyone who doesn't own at least one (1) cat. That will reduce your Friend count, and thus improve your Furrend/Friend ratio. Before you ditch the catless, however, you can always give them an ultimatum stating that you will stop being friends unless they adopt at least one (1) cat. You can also improve your ratio by adopting more Furrends yourself!

Personally, I need to improve in this regard. I have 8 cats in my life that I see regularly, but my friend count is a bit higher. I'm going to have to cut some of them loose if they don't bring a fluffy Furrend into their home soon (Especially that one "Friend" who owns two dogs >:( )!

Aw man I'm bad at maths 😂

I'm guessing it's pretty high though, as there's 7 cats I see regularly.
My sis has 2, my nephew has 2 now, my niece has 2, plus my own.

I think I can add my niece's best friend as my friend too, as she's actually having a key cut for me, and she has 2 cats also.

I only have two furrends aka my own cats.
Do cats from human friends count too? They are okay / friendly with me.

It is currently equal to zero, but it could instantly become infinite.

That's a lot of cats! I'm betting you've got a healthy score!

Street cats can be cool! I'd say they qualify as Furrends!

Of course other people's cats count! Of the 8 cats I see regularly, only one of them is mine. If your friends don't have cats, then are they really your friends?

Zero is horrible! You must feel sick. I hope you can make the needed adjustments to hit infinity - then you'll be feeling like your on top of the world!

Ration: 27:3 = 9 I'm in fluffy heaven :3

(this is not counting the cats who moved out of my neighbourhood or unfortunately passed away)

Well it seems I have a confession to make; if we're talking cats we regularly see in person compared to friends we regularly see in person my ratio would be something like 0:7. I'll have to work on that to please the feline overlords.

That's like asking me what's my squat to bench ratio, with the exception that regardless of how awful leg day might be, at least it won't give you toxoplasmosis. Owning a cat is a biohazard and should be discouraged by any means necessary. And cats aren't your friends and have no emotional attachment to you whatsoever - they just see you as a source of free food and shelter. At least dogs tend to build a genuine bond with humans.

Also, you should capitalize the word "Tag" as it is a noun. >:(

Taking pictures of stray cats that sometimes can close in the desperate hope of getting petted by me is more than enough for my emotional balance.

Preach. Leg days are fun though, and you don't want to look like a Greek statue, right?

It also irked me a little.

27 cats is nuts! Unfortunately... you've got to dock yourself a bunch of points for the two dogs. There is a hot debate in academia as to how large a penalty your health score should suffer for each dog, but personally I feel like removing 1/2 the cats from your score is fair. 13.5/3 is still great, though!

Yeah, I'd recommend you adopt a couple of kittens and ditch a few of your friends. You'll be in a much healthier place then!

Trying giving them love in addition to the photos! Good things will happen I'm sure!

My furrend ratio is too low. I only know a Siamese and an orange cat that like to hang out under and on top of my car.
