It feels very anti climactic and unsatisfying, like what happens after all the dating and emotion, no kisses in romance is like being blue-balled by the anime. |

| Most anime don't even have full relationships, or at least make them ambiguously platonic. I don't mind kissing as a climax or fanservice, the rest depends on the quality of the writing. |

| Cloverworks are wrong for denying fans some intimate moments between Mai and Sakuta. I will be making a post soon about how they manipulated/cut out some scenes to create unnecessary tension and whatnot. |

| I really liked that aspect of Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches. There were not just dramatic types of kisses, but also many casual kisses, which was refreshing. Unlike anime, kisses in real life are often meh. |
| I used to be disappointed by it but I'm used to it now. As long as I've been watching anime it's rare for a romance to have a satisfying payoff, kiss or otherwise. It's almost as if anime creators have a fear of commitment. |
