Whoa, it's been a long coming but about time their former apartment got restored back to normal since the fire. So many memories were made this season though. I mean, seriously...the amount of chemistry between our two main leads. Not going to lie, this episode was still adorably cute including that hug between Nasa and Tsukasa. They didn't really try to do anything groundbreaking for the season finale but I think it was enjoyable overall. |

The mysterious story of the rock that Tokiko had all this time, it undoubtedly links to Tsukasa one way or another. As Nasa reels in the morning since that hot night with Tsukasa, Tokiko comes in for some coffee and toast while Tsukasa just rests comfortably in the big bed...but the smell of the toast that will wake her up, Tokiko's well adapted for the outdoor life if she ever goes for one. And calling Tsukasa a rhinoceros beetle for the toast, Tokiko is as cunning to near sweet words from Nasa as they indulge in toast. The point of a wedding ceremony, Nasa got to experience that for himself, but what was Tokiko going to ask him about? About time that their former apartment, which has been burnt down before, it's almost done and they can move on soon, and by then, it'll only be the two of them. And that apartment is very fancy, they'd have to get furniture and move out of the Arisugawas' bathhouse. To that effect, Kaname feels lonely that she wont be able to see their exploits, but not to worry, they would still be here in some capacity. The walk closer to a married life, and Nasa just casually goes for a hug on Tsukasa...which the latter found it wrong to teach him how to hug properly. But going back to the serious stuff...or more like, messing around with her at night...and that brings an argument. The rock that Tokiko had all this while, with a sudden collapse she is brought to the hospital, but thankfully she's fine. Nasa is perceptive of Tokiko's movements, and knowing that she can't hide from him further, she passes him the rock that she has been keeping all this time, which will hold significant meaning to Tsukasa down the line. What a cherished moment between the married couple, and that's it for the sequel. But this is not over yet, there's the 4-episode ONA to go! |

So thats the story behind the rock. Waking up to the daylight after camping all night really is a unique experience. Even better when the scenary around them is nice. Kaname's response to their moveout really ws priceless. The group photo that they took at the camp though was a nice addition. Overall a pretty chill ep to end the season with while leaving enough for a poential s3 if granted. |

Gotta remember that hugging technique. For future reference. I don't remember Tokiko being hospitalized? Anime original content I guess, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. They really baited us with the OP. Praying for more seasons and Tsukasa's backstory animated ๐ Also this was the first time I was a manga reader for a full season of an anime! 9/10 But wait, there's more! There will be a 4-episode ONA series starting in July 12! |

I would love to spend time with Tokiko. She actually seems like a badass granny. Man, I'd feel very sad if Tokiko died. She seems to act alright in front of Tsukasa but that won't fool me or Nasa. Judging from other series, it raised a huge flag. I just hope she's going to get well soon. It was wholesome to see Nasa and Tsukasa argue. Actually, it was so cute that it's hard to call it an argument lol. Nasa and Tsukasa will move back to their new apartment. And their relationship is now stronger than ever after the wedding reception. And Tokiko finally passed on her role to Nasa in making Tsukasa's dream come true. It was a good season finale. But nothing too crazy. And I don't think a series like this needs a crazy season finale or anything like that. Especially when there's more story to tell. I'm glad a new series was confirmed already and it's coming as early as in July. It's a mini-series with 4 episodes and it's a direct continuation of Season 2 as far as I've heard. Tonikaku Kawaii is one of my favorite modern romcoms. So hopefully, Season 3 will follow shortly too. |

Well, it’s been a fun ride. Cute finale, but it feels like the story of Tonikawa is only getting started. There’s been hints as to Tsukasa’s true origins for a while now, I don’t think the moon rock, constant space and moon imagery, etc are for nothing. Seems like Tokiko spent her entire life trying to help Tsukasa with something. Whether it’s getting to the moon or something else, idk. But I really want a third season to get some answers! The cuteness of this season was even better than season 1. Nasa and Tsukasa’s chemistry has improved and you can really feel how much closer and more comfortable they got. Side characters as usual were awesome, especially ginga and Nasa’s sensei. Very solid romcom. |

This season still has the charms that made Season 1 great, but this season stayed in the status quo of Nasa and Tsukasa's relationship for the most part, with a couple teases of a larger plot at line, but never really got into that. Let's be real, I feel most people know what's going on there. That said, I still enjoy the comedy and the characters other than a select few. The ONA is up next for summer season, so there's that to look forward to. 7/10. |

This easily could've been any other episode of the season, but okay it works fine when they concluded things with hints about the big reveal. Though still hints, and I'm not sure for how long lol. I mean they teased it everywhere but decided to not jump the chapters and take their time, which is a good thing to be honest but hey it still doesn't change the fact they trolled us lol. Good to see Tokiko feeling at ease too. She has done a lot, and now she should rest and take it easy. Not on the level of first season, but this was still a nice addition nonetheless. Now to those 4 episode thing coming next month, and maybe a season 3 after that. |

Nice season! Didn't enjoy it as much as Season 1, but it was still a solid romcom edition. A lot more focus on Tokiko-san this season which added a new layer to the show that was good to have. Throughout the season, it felt like she was testing Nasa-kun but, at the same time, helping him around. A badass granny, all things considered. Feared for the worst at the end there but it seems like she's still got some fight in her, thankfully. Got a decent amount of Kaname-chan and Aya-san this season too, which is always a plus. Chitose, on the other hand, took a step back, it felt. Wanted to know more about Nakiri-san though. And then there's of course the main couple. Pretty sure 'nuff's said about it already. They're truly meant for each other. Found that whole rectification of the hugging scene both hilarious and endearing, and that really just summarises most of their interactions for me. Can't wait to see them in their new apartment next month! One little thing I wanted to add. Op this season wasn't as much of a banger as last season's but it was still top 5 of the season. A bit of a pity but oh well, maybe the next one will be dropping the hardest bars. |

Kinda surprised they didn't go "there", considering the opening, myabe they will do a season 3, with only what happens next sweet as always, a little easier to consume than the manga, even if it still kinda feels 2000s-ish and IMO I still preferred hayate no gotoku (the manga) to this, but I still appreciate it. Looking forward to the 3rd season, see ya soon |

Man ! i literally was terrified after I saw the tokiko collapsed, It's great that we weren't shown anybody dying in the last episode .Talking about the whole season then this time , It's wholesomeness surpassed even Season 1 , as I expected and said multiple times before , this season was gonna end with a cliffhanger and we wouldn't get to watch what we wanted but still it was just amazing . I am pretty sure it is going to be at the top for a long time in my list (especially when I already watched most of the top rated romance animes) . I am desperately waiting for the ovas and especially the season 3. |

Nasa will do everything he can to make Tsukasa happy, I'm sure of it! Tokiko making sure he wants to be with her in this season finale. Tokiko has been keeping tabs on the marriage of our couple, she definitely hold Tsukasa in high regards and wants to see her happy. The camping trip was a roaring success with Nasa and Tsukasa seeing how great it is having your own space and a big bed. I liked what Nasa said about their ceremony, how he didn't see the point in having one before but now being surrounded by their friends and family seeing his cute wife in her veil made him change his mind. I'm glad their apartment building has been rebuilt, this time with even more amenities. They can have their big bed and bathtub now, which means they can have extra cute moments like we saw at the bathhouse. Tokiko having a health scare wasn't pleasant but Nasa and her had a good talk about it. She very much cares for Tsukasa and wants her to be happy. The little flashes of Tokiko and Tsukasa past together have been nice. Nasa getting a tutorial in better hugs was funny, now he can hold his cute wife even closer. I hope they enjoy their new apartment with some privacy, Kaname was more upset than I thought about them leaving but they will be around still with each of their jobs. Here's to more fun adventures with the happy couple. 85/100 |

And the camping trip comes to an end with some delicious camping toast, my family does a little something different and we call it river toast lol, looked delicious tho. And the plot revelations regarding Tokiko were interesting, it has me wondering if she founded NASA lol but it makes sense, and it must’ve really sucked to dedicate your life to something and one day get told to stop, but of course Tsukasa was doing it for Tokiko’s own good. But it’s nice now to see that she’s happy with Nasa carrying the torch, and I’m sure he’ll carry it well as he has so far. But besides the plot, there were lots of great moments between Tsukasa and Nasa here, the two of them are finally able to move back to their apartment (I actually forgot they had one that burnt lol) and poor Kaname was feeling like she’d be left alone but she was thankfully reassured, I would hate for her to be done dirty lol. And the hug scene was also a really great one, surprised it took this long for Tsukasa to call Nasa out on it lol. And that was Season 2 of Tonikawa, it was another really sweet season just like the first one, it was really nice to take a trip back to good ol Fall 2020. I know folks were complaining about the lack of plot progression in this season but for me, that’s a small part of why I’m watching, the main reason I’m watching is this wholesome couple and this season had lots of them lol. The OP was one again a banger too and the ED was good as well, although sadly underused. I’m looking forward to the school arc coming in summer, and hopefully we can get a 3rd season! |

Plot finally feels like it’s moving forward but tbf that’s not what made me love this anime. But I do think this season was a little too status quo even with the introduction of new characters to sorta stir things up. It was cute and funny but not to the same degree as the first season which is why I want the plot to move forward so I can be more interested again. Enjoyed nonetheless and will watch the ona when it releases. |

there's been way too much garbage this season, but this is one of the very few shows that helped me pull through it. wholesomeness never failed to disappoint and the comedy was better than s1, best romcom of the season by far. solid 9/10 for me, love to see more of my fave no bs couple, glad next season is already announced, although it seems very short. a lot of romances next season it seems, hope there are some good ones then. |

as i would expect from a slice of life show, its pretty slow and the ending isn't want any of us (probably) wanted. and since its slice of life, this is probably the last season. unless they do another series off the fly me to the moon manga. overall, this season was pretty decent and it was nice to have some plot develop and have background characters get some screen time (one of my main problems with s1). i still think s1 is better overall and its more rewatchable but that doesnt mean s2 is bad at all. |
