So are those marks to show Muichiro has completely mastered his Mist Breathing to peak levels, or is it Sun Breathing marks due to his descent even though he isn't even using Sun reahing? ...I'm confused now. They never made mention before of other breathing styles potentially resulting in 'birth marks' :S |

| Tokito’s backstory was another upsetting one, not quite as gruesome but still a terrible situation. One thing I noticed was how nice the backgrounds were the entire time, had some very nice fall scenery as well as a bit of the other seasons, I’m a sucker for this kind of stuff lol. And that final bit where Tokito went sicko mode on Gyokko was very nice looking and badass, I’m sure he has more moves up his sleeve but it was satisfying seeing this pompous asshole get taken down a peg. And although we didn’t get any Mitsuri again this week, we did get a celebration of her birthday after the ED which was very cute, loved the “kyaaaa” lol. |

| Muichiro power up after flash back his past. His parents died at the same day... Then on the other seasons his twin also died... I guess they actually survive if they follow Amane words. |

| I do not consider myself as a "shonentard" and i do love some good storytelling but i gotta say this ep was boring. Literraly all the characters in this anime have the same backstory. The only things saving this ep were the nicer than usual background art and (i think) nozomu abe's cut a the end. I think this season has a serious pacing issue. There are litteral episodes were nothing concrete happens. |

| Looks like Michuiro has remebered his entire backstory. Just in time for him to save the day. Not to mention new sword so he's got an edge on the demon now. He's also gotten stronger and achieved mist cheek marks. So like Tanjiro he is a chosen one. Every demon slayer has a tragic backstory, can't wait to see Mitsuiri's. |

| Muichiro's backstory is not much different than Genya's. But we have seen him awakening his Mark, which is great. Amazing espiode as usual. |

Yes, now I more understand Muichiro but I would much more prefer it the other way. Now here we have a very fierce action battle and all in a sudden we are pulled-out from the action and thrown to the past in order to learn more about the character. Wouldn't it be better to make a story the proper way, where we have an introduction - we learn about the characters and their stories, then the plot movest to the core theme - action - it lasts through couple episodes when the plot enters the last part - the closing and then ending. I don't know, maybe I am a simple guy, but I really hate flashbacks |

| Good ep! He's a beast woah. And yeah similar marks on the face to Tanjiro which is interesting. I got confused at the very end dialogue... Did the twins do a switch? Did Muichiro actually die? Now I'm confused. I gotta rewatch that part.. Edit: The way he's talking from the twin's perspective about Muichiro. Did they merge perhaps when they touched hands? Idk |

| A great Muichiro backstory episode. It is very interesting that he also bears the fire marks. I thought those were linked to Tanjiro's lineage only. I wonder how many Demon Slayers bear them or perhaps can bear them after a certain condition is met. |

| The flashback itself is good but the way the author insert the flashback is horrendous and repetitive, and UFO makes no attempt to fix the pacing issue at all. It's basically always the same: OH NO I CAN'T MAKE IT -> DEJAVU -> everything super slow motion -> 10+ mins flashback -> POWER UPPPP Can you believe in a spam of 3 episodes they already repeat the same process twice? Also my prediction is right, Demon Slayer is basically just Fairy Tail now. All the damage/ poison suffered don't matter, after the flashback = power up + all wound healed, all status effect healed, damage/ speed 300% boost. Another thing I'm disappointed about is how unimportant Mitsuru is in the whole arc. She fought some random trash mobs and then her functionality is done. I thought they bring 2 Hashiras in this arc to not make a mockery of Upper Moons, but turns out these upper moons cant even fight 1 Hashira or 2 none Hashiras properly. And apparently 100+ years no Hashiras have ever defeated them, hmmm. If they dont want to make Upper Moon like a joke, why not Utilize Mitsuru to make her do something more instead of just for fan service? |
| Demon Slayer wouldn't be Demon Slayer without Demons breaking into someone's home to slaughter their loved ones. Still a decent backstory episode tho. Looking forward to Muichirou vs. Gyokko next week. |

| I feel it would have been better to have a much different voice for the twins because it is pretty hard to know at the end who was speaking, so there is still the mystery behind Genya and the marks are not only for Tanjirou. |
| It’s pretty obvious most hashira and even almost everyone in the demon slayer corps will have a tragic backstory about some loved one being killed by a demon. Why would anyone join the demon slayer corps otherwise???? They wouldn’t, they would be living a regular life. Hell, most normal people don’t even know demons exist. Of course there are exceptions, like Rengoku who was just following a family business and Zenitsu who was the victim of a scam… |
