| Gintama 9.41, Bleach TYBW 9.23, Aot Final Season also was around 9.20+ and I don't remember on how high it was but once Pingu in the City was boosted into top 1 anime. |

| I was sure the anime was FMA:BOT and its billions of online fans that rate it a 10 at the very same time, but from the users here the anime is Gintama. Surprising to say the least. |

| Back when I was still new on MAL, there was an anime that got a whopping 10.00 average score. It was the MAL Anime for the 2018(?) April Fool's joke. Technically it answers your question xD |

| It's 10.0 because there was surely at least one time where the first person rating an anime gave it a 10. You need a certain amount of ratings to end up in the top lists tho. |

| Oshi no ko is 9.38 rn and currently scored highest! I've only been here for 3 yrs but I think thats the highest so far. Tho yeah...toxic fans from fma or aot will surely spam 1 star ratings to bring it down. |

There's the MAL Score Progressions club, which has been keeping track of MAL season series ratings since mid-2012, if that works for you. |

It's a great club for those interested in current season anime (and perhaps the immediate past season) but has relatively little to offer for tracking stats on older anime. |
