The music sounds really nice, great music choices!

But, they seemed to have kinda messed up on the character designs, i think they looked better in the light novel, from what i can tell from the covers.....shame, really.

Also, from the PV, it makes it look like it's an all girls cast? Kinda disappointing tbh, well, but i'll still give it a try since it's not a shoujo-ai/yuri.

I didn't realize that the cast was all female lol, not sure how I feel about that yet, but overall it doesn't look too bad

The visuals are very nice too

Just how many times we've seen the exact same kind of teaser for any light novel adaptation having "hero" in its title.

A severe downgrade from the light novel illustrations and manga adaptations, I mean it is unrealistic to expect they mirror each other, but the anime character design and animation judging from the key visual and animated PV is just too much to simply accept them and move on.

Oh well...

Light Novel reader here~

There are prominent male characters in the light novel.
These includes Rafael(brother of Rafinha), Pullum(classmate of Inglis).
Rafael is one the strongest knight while Pullum is a great driver, better than Inglis. That is all I can describe to avoid spoiling.

The protagonist is not going to be the hero for this fiction, as compared to most fantasy genre(I have lost count the number of hero light novels I dropped. Lol).

I will try to explain reason why the title is "Reborn To Master The Blade, From Hero-King To Extraordinary Squire".

Inglis, the main protagonist used to be a Hero-King because he founded the country He gained his power from a goddess, known as Aether power. When he is dying due to old age, the goddess came to visit him again. Inglis wished to be reincarnated as a frontline soldier to master swordsmanship.

The goddess granted Inglis his wish and reincarnated xxx number of years into the future. And the country Inglis founded is in ruins,(magicite beasts killing people, and people becoming slaves to highlanders). Inglis is reincarnated as a girl, not sure why but whatever.

In her reincarnated life, she does not want to be a hero anymore and has no interest in politics, so she focused more on swordsmanship

When Inglis is six, she went to test her magic rune but ends up runeless, so she cannot become a knight, a squire at best.

That is the summary why this light novel has that cliche name.

I will recommend this light novel (or upcoming anime) to people are into:
* Humanity becoming slaves or wiped out (Attack On Titan, Macross, etc)
* Action novel/anime with female protagonist (Villainous Reloaded)
* Gender Bender (There is another light novel that belongs into this category but it is meh)
* Military Schools (Greatest Magicmaster's Retirement Plan)
* Super Power (Spirit Chronicles)

I don't recommend to people who dislike:
* Overpowered MC (Sword Art Online, and most of the typical isekais nowadays.) - Well, one of the antagonist, leader of Steelblood Front, is more powerful than Inglis~
* The cast is 70% female (Most harem/iseaki nowadays) - This is not a harem genre,

This is a one-of-a-kind light novel, I cannot think of light novels that the plot is similar to this.

Genre: Action / Magic / School / Super Power / Gender Bender / Shounen

With all due respect, I doubt that. A strong hero being reincarnated in the future with different abilities and being reincarnated as a woman are both things that happened last season.
Well I for one already loved Lain.

I remember reading the manga and finding it interesting. The PV makes it seem like it's an action anime that has mostly girls, but there's a mystery here if I remember correctly. With a group of people turning others into monsters.

When I meant one-of-kind, I was mentioning about the plot where the people are getting wiped out by magicite beasts and have to rely on highlanders technology to survive. To obtain the highlanders technology, humans have became slaves to them. The protagonist has to fight off magicite beasts, highlanders and Steelblood front.

The closest light novel plot I can think of is Greatest Magicmaster Retirement Plan but there are a lot of differences. Highlanders do not exist in Greatest Magicmaster Retirement Plan. And the protagonists have different personalities. Inglis has a Luffy personality while Alus has a Sasuke personality.

In terms of reincarnated into a women with different abilities, there is one other light novel for that. I forgot the name of the novel. It is a Japanese boy died and reincarnated into the female elf. And she became a receptionist, and is a Mary-Sue hence it is boring.

See, again, I'm sure you mean well, but when you say "there are no other LNs like this" them immediately list two that are almost exactly like it, it doesn't bode well. I would believe that this may be as unique as a Light Novel can be, but that's an enormous caveat.
Well I for one already loved Lain.
