| After Studios/Companies were introduced recently, I decided to use it as a chance to update my favourites. I hadn't updated them in a while, and I felt like it didn't represent my current tastes. I completely cleared everything and chose to add them in one by one, manually. Not even checking my list or scores to try and see what my "natural" choices would be. It was actually very hard to do and I'm not sure what I think, but I tried my best to be as honest as possible, I think compared to last time at least, my favourites are much more representative of me now. When was the last time you updated your favourites? Did you find it hard to choose? I did. Have the introduction of favourite studios/companies changed the way you add your favourites? And lastly, if you took a look at my favourites, and gave your opinions, I would be very interested. |

| I basically just favorited every anime I gave a 10 to. Having only 10 quantized levels, where the top half is over crammed to adapt to the very high average score of MAL doesn't allow for very accurate ordering of shows, so I actively try to not worry about too much, but the fact that I need to try means I'm not good at it. Characters are kind of arbitrary. People I only ever favorited 2, and I don't even remember whose voice actors they were. And I don't think there's a single company who wouldn't be a mixed bag, so I'll probably just not use that feature. |

| - I added a few more a few days ago to all categories (except manga, because manga sucks). - A little hard to choose, there were many options. - No change - Out of your six anime favs, I enjoyed four, have never seen Wolfs Rain, and found Revolutionary Girl Utena incredibly slow paced, repetitive and plain boring for the vast majority of it's 39 episodes. |
| Last year, I started to become more honest with my favorite anime picks because it's hard for me to justify having an anime in my favorites list if I've only watched it once. I feel that my favorites should be reserved for anime I've seen multiple times, so I just placed those in my list and it made things much easier. I reserve people for anime directors only because I'm a filmmaker myself so I resonate more with directors, I guess. As for characters, it's probably entirely arbitrary at this point. I have hundreds of favorite characters and they could change depending on the series. I do try to balance out male/female characters to mix it up more on my list. I love the addition of studios. I'll only put anime production studios and Sunrise reigns supreme on my list. |

I have one too lol Twin Engine produces good series! It's not as easy to figure which ones you like I think. Also I just updated them the other day lol minus the company thing of course, added The Night is Short Walk on Girl which replaced Future Boy Conan, which I still love but I don't have an emotional connection I find it really hard to choose, despite the fact that tbh I throw out 10s pretty easily and lovingly. And I mean hard to pick more not narrow it down, once I get past top 5 I kinda lose assemblance of my "love scale" lmao Your favorites seem cool, bit too gay for me but uhhh I guess maybe that's to be expected obviously not like you made it a secret lol. Ah! But you didn't make it obvious either! Yknow hehe Perfect Blue is amazing though and so is Mob and your characters are really solid, I can tell you probably are very personable |

| Last time I updated my favorites was last year when I put Odd Taxi in my favorite anime list. Now that we can add favorites companies, I added studios like Sunrise, Production I.G., TMS Entertainment, Madhouse, Studio Ghibli, etc. I want to add more studios like Studio Deen, Gainax, and Bones so I'm considering becoming MAL Supporter. |

| "When was the last time you updated your favourites?" Years ago and they don't represent my top 10, more like what types of shows I prefer. "Did you find it hard to choose?" Yep. My full list of favourites is around 500 titles and it's practically impossible to select the ones which can say something about me...so at the end I kind of gave up (I mean space opera, action, comedy, adventure, fantasy, mystery and surrealistic stuff - this is what I like) and I am never touching those again. |

| When was the last time you updated your favourites? Some time last year Did you find it hard to choose? More like I don't even know what to put in there since all my likes are a momentary thing while I'm watching/reading the series and I tend to forget about them later. That's why I stopped adding any new entries (my last addition is from 2018) and decided to clear out my favorite characters last year. While I do like the ones I've listed under favorites my only true "favorite" right now is Conrad Weller (and possibly Toshiyuki Morikawa and Kalafina). Have the introduction of favourite studios/companies changed the way you add your favourites? No since I never really cared about studios or companies. |

| When was the last time you updated your favourites? =>6 days ago when I watched few of live action adaptation of hiro Arikawa works. I brought her into my favorite people section and removed her work library wars from my favorite anime section and then put astra no kanata there Did you find it hard to choose? =>Yes, it hard to choose for me because I have a lot of anime, manga and creator I love to choose from and there are only 10 places. But then again have a limit to the favorites is a good thing too because I can show subtle representations without being too bulky. Though I don't think it will be anything too major. For now the studios I put are basically from malgraph and comparing how many of my favorites are from which studio lastly, if you took a look at my favourites, and gave your opinions, I would be very interested. =>well, its pretty much opposite to things I like or keep in favorites. We do have commen liking towards tokyo ghoul, mob psycho or beastars. But I am pretty sure its because of entirely seperate reasoning. |
