A 2 minute show about CGI hamsters shaped as cars that randomnly cuts to cringy Koreans (real living Koreans) in the backseat of these things dancing is now ranked AHEAD of actual masterpieces such as Gankutsuo, Shinsekai Yori, Katanagatari, and honestly God knows what else. MAL has reached peak levels of autism and officially lost the plot. Congrats, I didn't think y'all could go any lower. |

| To be fair I find it quite strange how MAL hasn't done anything about it, maybe if it gets high enough, the same thing as Tian Guan Ci Fu will happen where people just downvoted it lol. Honestly, I was confused as hell when I saw those scores, even the reviews take no acknowledgement of the general audience who will certainly come across it. I plan to review it myself when it finishes because that is kinda strange. In saying this, I love the show, but it isn't 10/10 on a universal scale. |

Interesting thought- define what you mean further You know, people with big knowledge on cinematography who can really judge an anime like they judge a movie, but by MAL standards (sound for example, how a normal person like me judges this, I think it's the hardest criteria) along with art, animation, characters, story and others. |

Yeah I kinda get what you're saying. So something like Rotten Tomatoes or Metacritic where you have a user score and critic score. MAL does have reviews.. which... i guess is the closest thing to a "critical score" ? But the problem with that is that anyone can make a review, and they're not well regulated. It would involve hand selecting a group of actual trusted voices to be official reviews, and there's really not many that I think would be a good fit. Stark700 is the only one that comes to mind. |

Its not CG, it is stop motion which is quite impressive how fluid it goes for a kids show. PPM is just a masterpiece. This being said, imagine taking seriously MAL ratings. |
