And now the poll figures for Trump vs Biden are not far off from that for Wisconsin, so anything could happen. A similar situation is also true true for Michigan, though there it was only ~4% off in 2016, which is also similar to the poll % figures for the current election. Let me point out that it's a fact that pretty much no one expected this "upset" in Trump's favor for these states at the time (including Trump supporters), though today everyone pretends as if the attitude of "considering these blue states in the bag for Clinton" was never a thing. Historical revision, live. Doesn't mean that Trump will definitely win these against Biden, of course, but I think people tend to forget inconvenient truths to them, so I thought I'd just remind people here that at least in 2016 the polling methods for these two states clearly failed and we don't know for sure if the polling companies were able to make the appropriate adjustments in time for this election or not. |

As of the LAST polls....Biden was comfortably ahead in Wisconsin and Michigan 7 and 8 points respectively. IF Biden does indeed win those two states....that puts him at around 258 Electoral Votes...(Not counting all the other battleground states). FOLKS....if that occurs....Biden only has to win ONE of the following states: Pennsylvania (where he leads by 4.6 points) Florida (where he leads by 2.5 points) Arizona (Where he leads by 2.6 points) North Carolina (Where he leads by 1.8 points) Georgia (Where he leads by 0.9 points) Ohio (Where he trails, but only by 0.6 points) Texas (Where he trails, but only by 1.5 points) Trump on the other hand has to LITERALLY win every single one of these states. Not some....ALL OF THEM. Biden only has to win ONE! We are now 4 hours away from the first polls closing. |

| Expecting the guy who isn't Trump to win now. It doesn't seem as though Trump's time in office has satisfied more people than it has disappointed and it's easy to criticize whoever is in power. Personally I think it's a bit better if Biden wins, since he won't completely ignore environmental issues like Trump does (what a shame), among other things. I don't view Trump as a bad guy, some of his policies/ actions seem genuinely good. He doesn't seem like the right guy to lead a country with how inappropriately he conducts himself. The only reason I somewhat would want Trump to win is because some assholes would get mad over it. In any case I don't want to see either of them win. But it's not my country so whatever. Those are my thoughts. I might have written something stupid since I don't really pay much attention to politics. |
