i only read when its not pedo-y honestly i would never EVER marry someone over 5 years older than me. Ive seen 10+ year age gaps and trust me non of them were pretty.

I got daddy issues so these stories hit different

i dont mind it, as long as its not underage, lolicon or shotacon shit

for me personally, i prefer men to be the older one

No.

Age gap relationships, both in anime and real life are disturbing in my opinion.

Being in a relationship with someone who is upwards to 10 years older/younger than you is weird, and the generation gap would make it difficult for things to work in most cases.

well not really, my dad is 10 years older than my mom but they are doing fine... though some disagreement still there

as long they are willing to follow the rule and take responsibility i dont see any problem

It really really depends. I don’t like it if the gap is 20+ years, or if one of them is a kid while the other is a mature adult. Nuh uh. No pedos. Fuckin gross.
The dynamic of an older woman and a younger man is always fun, but again, not TOO big of a gap, because then it’s just scary.

What about Tachibana and Kondou from After the Rain?

Have yet to see that one! Maybe I’ll give it a go and see if I like it or not.

The age gap is 20+ I think if I remember correctly and I agree with you that that stuff is kinda weird if the age gap is that wide but I enjoyed After the Rain

Sure if they have chemistry then why not? Remember what's important people.

as long there is no exploitation and manipulation.

the general rule, it's the younger who fall in love first.

I mean,my friend and her boyfriend have a 12 year old gap, with her being 20 and he being 32. I have nothing against it, but he seriously looks like he could be her dad so that makes it a bit awkward for me. Same goes for my aunt (47) and her husband (60), seems a bit too much,at least for me.

If both parties are of age and consenting why not. But if I could choose,I'd rather not pick a person that much older or younger than me.

Yeah definitely, but I’m just talking more kid/adult stuff, that bugs me the most. But thanks for the rec!

I've come to the conclusion that the window to fall in love in anime is between 15-18.

If you haven't fallen in love by then you will die alone and miserable.

I don't get why this is such a huge social stigma. If they're consenting adults, who the fuck cares? As far as anime goes, don't care. Legal, illegal, just give me a good show and I'll be happy.

It is both hilarious and tragic with how true this is. xD

Also if your significant other dies in that window, you too will die alone and miserable.

If you extend it to 23 it is also the window in which you reach the peak of your career and achieve your greatest accomplishments in life. Oh, and start getting children.

As long as they're both adults capable of making their own decisions, or at least both in love with each other, than sure.

so basically loliconism?

not that I have problems with it, I mean I'll watch a romantic voreism if it's a very good one... On the subject, I just dont really care, thing is, I dont inject political or moral agenda when I watch anime.

Honestly - that would depend on what's considered huge, if both people are consenting adults...etc etc.

In anime? Who cares

IRL? Yeah it's definitely not ideal. I was dating an 18-year old when I was 24 and that already felt too much to me because I had to be just as much of a parent as a boyfriend a lot of the time it felt like. I can only imagine what it's like for people that are like 15+ years apart. You'll basically be on different stages of society and it'll just make things a lot harder to relate and get along

Not really. Unless it's like, between an adult and a 100+ year old immortal who doesn't age.

I like the taboo-ness of "fictional" teacher-student relationships- as long as the teacher is still young- mid-20s maybe early 30s. Like, when I play dating sims the teacher route is the one I usually go down. For me, I view myself as the character, I'm not envisioning some 16 years old going out with some guy 10 years older than her- I'm viewing myself, a 24-year-old woman, in the relationship.

Personal opinion but only if the male is older and the female is younger. I find the reverse disgusting
