| What?! The King is really dead?!!! The corpse looked more like Netero's than Meruem's though...? And what's more, I find it hard to believe that he was killed by a bomb while he was just left with scratches after the fight with Netero! Is it not the bomb explosion itself but the aftermath (the magma thing) that proved lethal? Half of me is in disbelief and a part of me actually feel just a little bit sad that he's dead! I like his monologues and I think I'm gonna somewhat miss hearing seiyuu lol >__< Now that the King is dead, the royal guards would probably go mad and probably kill everyone else OTL The way they really care about the King was somewhat touching, though I don't know if that loyalty is part of their "natural instinct" or not... And everyone was shocked Gon thought of making Komugi a hostage lol.. I feel kinda sad that Komugi and Meruem won't meet again tbh u___u I hope Pitou will really heal Kite before or after the Pitou x Gon fight As for Gon, I think his character has been on the extremes so far - extremely naive or extremely selfish. I'm not a fan of either extremity so it's been hard for me to like Gon as a main character tbh |

| The Miniature Rose being a mass-produced weapon of mass destruction that's been defended by an overwhelming portion of the world despite it causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people is an ominous reminder that something like this is most likely happening in real life. That bomb setting off in that urban area while the masses just looked at the flash cluelessly with that music playing in the background gave me chills in a bad way. Knuckle and the others walking towards their final destination, ready to throw their lives in an effort to help Gon fight against Pitou was hype but he's fine going with her alone instead. She might be thinking about how to kill him on the way but her body says that it's a hard no! I hope that they'll at least try to be gentle with Komugi and probably even fill her in on the details since this is the most someone's been out of the loop I've seen. I can barely recognize Meruem, damn. If this is actually him, Netero really did a number on him this time. |
